Hiiii😆deli-boon-san🥰Thanks again for your comments! Indeed! Walking along the Sumida River and that bridge was really nice. The cherry blossoms along the Sumida River in spring are also fantastic, although it gets extremely crowded. 😅 In Japan recently, there has been a gradual increase in facilities where people can offer prayers.👍

I love the historical and cultural information you had in this video! And seeing the curved road was definitely throwing me off, as every road is in a grid pattern in (most of) our cities, so I knew it was made that way for a reason, historical or not. Thank you for the explanation! Loved the view from the Sky tree and the shrines. New and old, both so beautiful... But... the FOOD! The udon in the miso soup looked incredible (I LOVE miso soup!) and I would go broke and max out all my credit cards eating at the conveyor sushi restaurant! Everything looked so delicious, but especially the eel! It's been too long since I have had eel, and seeing that brought back happy memories! Thank you so much for your videos, Atsuko san, and it's wonderful to hear your voice again!

Douglas-san, thank you as always for your comments Japan has been gradually warming up, and cherry blossoms will soon be in bloom - yay!🌸 I found it interesting when I first learned about the reason for the crooked path, so I've included it in this video. I didn't know you liked miso soup. Next time I find something delicious with miso flavor, I'll be sure to record it for a video. 😉The eel at Kura Sushi was both affordable and delicious, although the slices were a bit thin. In Asakusa, they also sell eel rice balls, which I should have introduced as well. This time, I tried my hand at Japanese voice-over for the first time! Hehe.😁 Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Douglas-san! 😉 Matane.

G’day Atsuko-san. Again, what a fantastic video of a place I had previously visited. But yes, I had missed the very best bits! That’s why I’m so glad that you show us a new slant to familiar places. Sensoji at night! Brilliant idea! And the two look outs over Asakusa 👍👍. I love the narration, (though I can’t understand much Japanese), it’s because you animate your lovely voice, it complements your visuals perfectly. Again, arigato 🥰

G'day Lucy-san,😁 Thank you once again for watching my video and leaving a comment! I'm truly delighted! This time, I aimed to introduce some places that haven't been featured in other Asakusa videos. I'm glad you enjoyed them! Sensoji Temple at night is very beautiful, isn't it? Actually, Sensoji Temple at night after the rain is even more beautiful! The reflections of Sensoji Temple on the wet road are fantastic! It's a rare sight to see, but if you have a chance, please do! This was my first attempt at Japanese narration, and while it was a bit embarrassing, I'm grateful for your kind words of praise! Arigatou! Wishing you a fantastic start to the week!🌸

HiThe Long Gone Loser Rock Show-san😉😉I saw your comment but it seems to have disappeared so let me reply here instead. I currently don't plan on doing personal travel consultation services. However, I'm planning to do travel consulting and guiding in the future after I have a little more content so for now, I'll focus on content creation. Nonetheless, please feel free to ask me any simple questions in the comments section and I'll answer to the best of my ability. I used to work for JR East Japan, so I'm knowledgeable about the Tohoku area and Shinkansen trains, but not as much about other regions.

@@GetToKnowJapanTogether hi! Thanks for replying. It wasn’t so much consultation, it was more just questions about a travel plan I had of hiking from somewhere like Hokkaido down to Fukuoka. If there’s a way to do it via trains / buses between the small towns, or is it hard to do without a car? I just have this wish to do a lot of hiking that way and just seeing as many small towns as I can along the way. Walk as much as I can and then take a bus / train the rest of the time. It’s just an idea I’ve had for a few years now. I really want to see as much as I can that is separate to the big cities, if that makes sense. Thanks for replying.

@@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow 😲😲So, are you planning to travel from Hokkaido to Kyushu by foot, bus, and train? Have you considered purchasing a 21-day Japan Rail Pass and disembarking at places of interest to explore? Alternatively, do you prefer avoiding the Shinkansen or similar services, and instead opting for local trains and buses to reach your destinations?
@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow
@TheLongGoneLoserRockShow 6 месяцев назад
@@GetToKnowJapanTogether yep! Pretty much a mix of everything. Take whatever means is available at the time to get from one place to the next. The idea of buses and local trains sounds good to me because I’ll be able to stop at more places and see the small towns and things. It’s an exciting adventure. I hope I can make it work. I plan on streaming the whole thing. Good times!

Eodis-san, 😍Bonjour. Thank you for your comment. It's とても嬉しい to hear from you. Eodis-san doesn't like heights? I don't like heights either.😅 To be honest, the glass floor scared me so much that I couldn't look directly at it, so I recorded it only with the camera pointing down. 🤣The view from the Skytree is truly beautiful, and it reminded me once again that the earth is round! I hope my Japanese narration can be helpful to you in your Japanese studies. ありがとうございます for your kind words and encouragement. I truly appreciate it! Bon week-end à tous

Hello.Thanks for the video. It was very interesting.Please make a guide to Narita Airport.Arrival, currency exchange, purchase of a suica card, how to get to Tokyo.Thanks.
@GetToKnowJapanTogether
@GetToKnowJapanTogether 6 месяцев назад
Ohayou gozaimasu,Mikhail-san!😊 While I currently don't have plans to create a video introducing Narita Airport in the near future, I hope to do so soon! Regarding money exchange, my friend exchanged a small amount of currency into Japanese yen in his country and withdrew the remainder at a 7-Eleven store. 7-Eleven stores are widespread throughout Japan, and they generally offer favorable exchange rates. When it comes to purchasing a Welcome Suica card, there's often a long queue, so I recommend considering Mobile Suica or PASMO instead, as they offer similar convenience. You can find more information at the following links: www.japanlivingguide.com/living-in-japan/transportation/mobile-suica/ www.pasmo.co.jp/visitors/en/buy/ I hope this information proves helpful for your upcoming trip to Japan!

There is a shortage of IC chips, but Suica and Pasmo choose to waste them on tourist cards which have a lifespan of only 28 days. So it sounds like there is no physical difference between the resident and tourist version of these cards. Seems like the chip shortage claim is just an excuse to create a tourist revenue generating scheme forcing them to abandon unused funds every month. Almost like a tourist tax.

Hello. Thanks for the video. Although the idea with the voiceover of the video was slightly unusual, I liked it. When I heard the word Yoshiwara, it seemed familiar to me and only then did I remember that I had heard it before in the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba.👹 Although this place had a tragic end, it is still a part of history. Thank you for showing this place and telling about it. I hope there will be more such excursions into history in the future. Thank you for your work. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Aston-san😆😆😆 It's always a pleasure to receive your comments. ARigaTo 😊I'm glad you liked the Japanese voice-over, even though it was my first attempt. 😅hehe 😅And yes,Yoshiwara was the setting for Kimetsu no Yaiba. And the path I walked on was right in the heart of the red-light district. If I discover any other historically interesting places, I'll be sure to introduce them to you again! Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🥰
