Away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, Japan is exquisitely beautiful. The sea side areas you shown were simply stunning, and can hold their own against any sea side resort in the world. The FOOD was delicious looking! I am suddenly painfully aware of the lack of freshness (and healthiness) of the food I am currently consuming! And the temples and shrines are always spectacular! Seeing the color this early- be it the plum blossoms, flowers, or even the fish, reminds us spring is coming soon! Thank you always, Atsuko san, for sharing your country with us!

We Japanese love eating fish, and they taste better when they're fresh. So, freshness is a key factor for us when it comes to food.😄 It's been warm all winter this year, and it's only just getting colder, but the flowers and blossoms are already announcing spring, which is so wondrous! Kamakura is one of the nicest places to visit. I went there on my first real trip to japan in 2006 and went hiking though the mountains there discovering so many things hidden away that aren’t so visible to tourists. It was a really nice experience and not something I had planned on doing but my mate there insisted we go cos he knew I would like it. So I took my mum there in 2019 and she loved it too.

@@GetToKnowJapanTogether I remember seeing the Daibutsu, that island that you cross the bridge to get to, some hidden temples that are tucked away in the mountains, and the two large temples with the gold statues inside that you’re not allowed to take photos of. It was incredible! I had the best time there. When I go back I will make some more videos of Japan seeing so many sites inspired by your videos. Arigato!

When you ride the monorail, be sure to grab a spot right behind the driver's seat! The view is fantastic! The restaurant where the Enoden runs right in front of you was also very nice, but it's quite crowded. I went during a less busy time and requested a window seat. It seems they don't accept such requests during busy hours. For my next video, I'm thinking of introducing a mountain with stunning views. I hope your trip to Japan will be amazing!😉😉
