for everyone wondering, this sounds like this on purpose. his approach was "testing". this is supposed to have the un mastered/edited sound. that's why in the second verse drop both the vocals and instrumental equalize and sound cleaner. asap aint a dummy. he did this shit to make it a convo. You're not too bright, are you? He's testing a new style of music. This album is going to be something hip-hop has never heard before and it's going to be far ahead of its time. To fit into this testing aesthetic, this song sounds really rugged and unfinished.

either it is a test, or that is part of the aesthetic I mean the cover art did say testing, now he changed it to say dummie. But idk I had very high hopes for this album and so far, he's dropped 3 songs, 3 days in a row, and they all been garbage, my hope is growing very thin at this point
Juan .Saenz you obviously don’t follow Rocky on any social media. If you did a little research on the songs you would know they are testers. He said “that’s why they’re free” every other rapper or artist drops a song and you have to buy the song or subscription to listen to it. You should be appreciative that you get this art for free.
