A$AP Rocky performing “Long Live A$AP” live during the start to The Injured Generation Tour on Tuesday, January 8th at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He’s a fucking legend and god a lord always my favorite since 7th grade and finally about to be out of high school he’s been an inspiration and idol my whole life long live Yams long live ASAP
That's dope! I love reading different perspectives from fans. Damn, you've got good tastes! seeing as you gravitated towards Rocky in 7th grade into High School. I've been rocking with him since 2011 during my Senior year in college up till now. He's definitely a bonafide legend and an artist in every form of the word.
Right! Even a half hour of Live.Love.A$AP would of been amazing. I was hoping for a little more throwbacks, however I've loved the evolution of Rocky. Not to mention how the themes of TESTING really felt like they were perfectly captured with his idea of "Injured Generation" tour and eerily symbolic in many ways. Plus I loved TESTING when not many did. Luckily this was my 4th time seeing Rocky live since 2011 so i've been fortunate enough to see a good mix.
I love the way it was preformed it in LA Idk why but rocky made the chorus so much beautiful it was just the vocals guitar and bass no drums like in the actual song
lol that cracks me up reading this because I can already picture how that went down too. Such a crazy tour to go on. Glad you got to see history be made.
that is probably an understatement lol. The guardrail almost was knocked over with at least 10 security guards holding it up all evening. It was honestly a riot.
Merch wasn't pricey from what i've been used to at shows - $35 for tshirts - $50 for hoodies, etc. He also had plush throw pillows, huge 3D posters, sticker packs, lighters, etc. I was disappointed because the merch guy admitted that a ton of the merch styles and designs didn't ship on time so I only had one option but had to support regardless. Especially since Rocky designs his merch.
Memorize all of TESTING and the hits off his previous two albums and you're golden. He did switch it up from each location though, so if you're a long time Rocky fan you shouldn't have any issues. I didn't. Hope you enjoy!
Straight luck... I kid you not. I was waiting in 15 degree weather for an hour and a half and when they finally opened the venue doors people legit bum rushed lol. It was chaos to get inside so I just found a spot as close as I could until some pregnant chick (YES, pregnant) decided to leave her guardrail spot along with her clearly pissed off bf lol. She would of been destroyed from the mosh pit
