I took my time, followed your instructions and it went on perfect. Feels like the original glass when you use it. Very slight delay with the thumbprint but other than that perfect. Thank you
This was a bit messy to apply, I wouldn't recommend using the entire bottle of glue, it leaked all over the sides and it was a pain to wipe off. As someone else commented, be careful removing the red guides as they can lift the protector after curing it. I have a small bubble on the bottom corner of the screen now, but I will leave it just so I don't have to redo the process.
My comments. Watch the video will doing this job. Be in a well-lighted area. Dust absorber in my kit was very sticky and difficult to remove when dabbed and actually left glue on glass. Luckly, I saw it in the well-lighted area. Careful when tilting the phone to get the glue to move around, the glass moved on me, and I have to reposition the glass. I almost had it perfect. When I removed the guide, it lifted the glass. Was almost able to get all the air out. Fingerprint worked well. Hope this helps someone.
Just installed this on my Pixel 7 Pro. It went on perfectly, the instructions were good. The positioning pieces and button foam stickers were useful, and the UV curing light is much more substantial than the 3-LED aliexpress ones (although i use a nail curing light). I think it's worth the small additional cost over the AliExpress cheapies.
Works well, but be careful at the end of the process when removing the guide parts at the top / bottom of the phone or these can lift the screen slightly when you remove them causing a bubble if you are not careful.
Still doesn't work with fingerprint scanner. Can get it to read pressing obscenely hard on glass but makes it so scanner is buggy and doesn't want to actually work right.
sadly, typical chinese rubbish that Amazon UK seems to stock almost exclusively now.... followed instructions after watching the video first. Glue doesnt spread; tilting slightly causes the protector to slide off and glue to spill. In the bin. sadly; if youre seeing this youve probably already wasted your money.
I might be very lucky after that glue solvent leaked everywhere - I don't think any components have been damaged but I suggest everyone find a different less complicated screen protector because this was a dog to apply and its really not worth the risk - I looked at the instructions very carefully for my s21 ultra but holy crap the language barrier is annoying and again I suggest you find a screen protector with that sticky back instead of this crappy uv setting adhesive.
Your Note 20 5g protector does not fit the protector. The glass is the same size but the hole is misplaced. Also your UV glue goes everywhere and is absorbed by the black sticky pieces. In other words be prepared for a water damaged device! Also, plug your UV light in for more than 5 minutes and I garantee it will leave a burn mark on your skin
Hello! I just bought the s23 ultra and this protector so after reading your comment I'm very concerned... may I ask you what happened to the speaker of your phone?
@@annacm840 I've just applied it and basically the glue gets applied separately and I've had the same issue - the glue went EVERYWHERE - all down the sides and back of the phone. I really hope it didn't get into my speakers and such and damage them, hard to say at this stage but I suggest you look for something that has the adhesive ready to go on the screen protector. The only good thing about this pre-applied solvent compared to the normal sticky back of normal screen protectors is that you're able to actually use the fingerprint reader without that sticky residue you get on normal tempered glass screen protectors but its really not worth the risk - get a different screen protector if you haven't already.
Gosh that is the worst glass I ever had in my entire life. Is not cheap so I expected it will be good quality of screen protector. The guides don't help to set up glass at all, are even make installation bad, because of guides screen doesn't fit properly and if Fall off straight after putting case, so is not case friendly. Lamp UV is after one min so hot you can actually smell burning plastic.
Lol if you really know how to apply an UV glue glass screen protector you will have no issue applying it. Yes the steps are complicated but it is the best glass protector for curved displays
No it isn't. By far. There are many others that don't for one require glue to adhere it. This is the most complicated screen protector I've ever seen. For the price these people should be arrested
Horrible product... No physical guidance whatsoever all you get are those sticky foam bumpers and that's it... Idk if it was mines but, I couldn't apply the glass corrrecly and the glue wouldn't go all the way every though I used an entire glue stick unit and tilted it like shown in the video... 🤷♂️ Returning it just as is.. to get my refund..
