Wonderful video, and so cool that you get to share your hobby with your mom too! I'm the only siren fan that I know, personally, especially as we don't have much in the way of sirens in the UK now. I used to live close to one siren network but I moved a long time ago, and they've now been decommissioned. So sad. I love that they now use modern technology to warn people of emergency issues, but not everyone always has a charged cellphone with signal or whatnot. You'd think there would still be a place for sirens too, considering how often I lose signal in my own bedroom, let alone while travelling from one town to another on country roads, on trains, etc.
Yeah thanks! It's cool to have a "siren family". Sad that they all got decommissioned tho. I never understood why they replaced sirens with phones, not everyone has one.
