When I got into this a couple of years ago. I did a lot of my own research. High ends and low ends. The FS 128 was the very first one I liked . I think out of them all, the Ascends has the best deck set ups in my opinion. Unfortunately there were a lot of problems with the old 128's for what I was reading. Fixable mind you but I didn't feel like doing it. So I went with the FS 12 sit in which I noticed is discontinued which I am still using to this day.also own a FS 10 sit in. Haven't fished out of it much because I have been enjoying the peacefulness away from society the new sites to me from the water and the wild life. It had totally distracted me from my fishing,lol. When Tracker fixed all the problems to the 128 last year I believe. I thought that was awesome!!! Besides it showed me that Tracker was listening to its yak customers which I didn't think they would do. So a lot of credit I give for that. So since the 128 was the first one I wanted and the problems were all fixed I already had my mind made up of making the purchase for the new one before spring in 2017. As it is strictly going to be my fishing yak.Besides a diving platform because I want to use it for snorkeling. Until I caught wind they upgraded the 128 again! Which surprised me! Then was curious about the upgrade and found out about a month ago that wiring was installed. So again holding out until it is on the floor at B.P. End of story. How long ago did you buy it? Maybe you could escalate to a manager? 2 days outside the price match is not a ton by any means. Maybe try calling their help line etc.

The 2017 is pretty stout. The wall thickness in the 128T is the same as pretty much every kayak available without an internal frame structure and the best available for less than $900 I've seen. There are two other ports you could run longer lengths if you wanted. Also, it would be impossible to put the plugs in every single location someone would want them.
