Great information I view this as another trade, even though I am a minister in my trade I have the mindset of an eternal student with that mindset promotes growth. Like any trade the proper education and mentors And teachers is essential and that is why I am a big fan of American Sentinel because of the man behind the dogs. Without the Man the dogs will diminish. God-bless this program

Once again, another quality informative video. Always appreciate your candor and the demonstrable integrity of your program. Would you recommend a formal education for someone interested in doing what you’re doing before recommending real day in and day out, hands-on mentor ship with someone like you or Keaton? Not trying to cut corners or duck the work involved in getting a degree, I’m looking into that. Often times a person does what’s necessary to get the degree but gleans from school the necessary things they plan to implement in terms of their own goals, making the piece of paper degree a formality. Not trivializing education. I’m a hands on, work oriented learner/achiever, without that a lot doesn’t stick with me.

Thanks for responding. Have been looking into the education side on my own, just not sure which are the ones to pass by and which I should consider. Any recommendations for trainers or schools that a person should look into in the states? Have found several videos through Leerburg. Just don’t wanna waste my time/money. Looking to start working with a k9 trainer/ program in the fall. As you say, there are a lot of trainers out there with different goals and skill sets. Wanna start with the best possible information. Keep up the good work!
