Waving from the Wild West Coast of Ireland 👋 Loved the food haul, practically identical to mine today, even the coriander! Though mine did include dog food 😊 I think its important to listen to what your body craves ....fruit, veg etc. Clean food. Luving the vids...thanks for sharing. oh and hello Jack x

Not a meat fan, as you probably know by now, but glad to see fruit and veg in your shop. Also glad to see that you listen to your body; you needed strawberries so you bought them. I remember doing Atkins about 20 years ago (similar maybe?) and all I could think about was tomatoes 😂

When im at the end of my budget i take a walk to a small asda just to check what meat is reduced. Every day before midday ive always had good results. Variable day to day, overall a big hit and worth checking out if youre not working

You're inspiring me to cook more. Little miss i live on crap ready meals 80% of the time pulled the slow cooker out and made a massive chilli. 3 portions stowed in the freezer. Also been doing scrambled eggs for lunch, gorgeous with cheese and herbs and under 2 mins in the micro! Deffo couldn't give up my fruit though!

Yeah I really was craving strawberries! Fruit is so lovely. Well done on your slow cooker efforts I need to get one. I ate lots of ready meals before this channel/my eating well efforts just cos they were super handy xx

Hiya, Lancashire farm yogurts are really good bio yogurts. I am in Australia at the mo and their food prices are much higher than ours in the UK. Thanks for the Asda recommendation 😀

I think Asda is cheaper than Tesco's. so outta the two, I do an on-line shop with them as have mobility issues, but Aldi's or Lidle's mainly Lidle's as thier closest to me, get oat milk which is really creamy & good for you, usually 69p a carton, tinned stuff, & any other bargains I can pick up that I need. I was tought to always have a tins of tomatoes, mushroom & tomato soup, as they are brilliant for substitute sauces. And mushrooms are the secret super food, so incorporate them into your diet when ever you can, you can eat then raw (after removing the skins or just washing) or cooked so very versatile. Also our no 1 enemy in food is the amount of sugar that is added to practically everything, so look out for that in all your food, naturally occurring sugars much healthier. I was shouting at the screen get the Lancashire Farmhouse bio yogurt! Such good value, creamy & really good for you, these Greek Style yogurts have loads more sugar in them. A great dessert I love to make with that yogurt, is big dollop of yogurt frozen mixed fruit, grated dark chocolate on top delicious! Frozen fruit is so cheap & can always use when u need a quick dessert. No waste what so ever. Thank you Rechenda, for all your video's very informative & helpful ♡

I know I get so confused on what I am supposed to be eating! A colleague at work told me about Eddie Abbew and from there I realised I was eating not enough whole foods, Eddie loves his meat and eggs 🥚 xx

Wonderful to see you again lady! Looking forward to seeing what you create with your latest haul. Kudos on your efforts to a healthy eating plan. It is so much more costly but hopefully, in the end, worth it. I will say, between figuring out best value and understanding ingredients, one needs a decent education. The lamb was a good buy. I tend to shop at Lidl and Aldi with a small online shop every couple of months at tesco for stuff that I can't get at Lidl or Aldi.

@@BudgetFoodieUK i think thats pretty realistic and you have already got quite a bit of meat from asda and some of the bits from muscle foods which i know u r not delighted about by still its foods its been.paid for and whilst the ingredients are far from your ideal its not going to kill you this once you just wont buy them again . I think u should be able to stick within budget no probs and still have a few treats . I notice u don't buy sweets choclate crisps or biscuits or i just havent noticed hat off to u no matter what these are in my treat cupboard my excuse is i might need them to bake or i like some crisps for a little crunch with my salad or sandwiches and as for chocolate i dont think coffee taste the same without a little square of lindt !! Hows ur sunday going doing anything nice . Hows my fav boy mr jack px

Hey Paula, Jack is well he is currently curled up on the radiator staying out of the windy garden! I am good and hardly ever have treats, if I need something I might have a spoonful of peanut butter but I do want to try doing a healthy ‘bake’ at some point xx

@@BudgetFoodieUK how good and committed r you i am afraid that i dont have the will power althpugh that said i buy for the treat box but maybe only have something every couple of days but i always have a square of lindt in the afternoon with a coffee. I lost zebo my tabby last year so i love seeing mr jack you get so attached. I had a 3 year old chocbrown labador called lacey and she is currently burning off a bit of energy running around the garden chasing the wind lol. There are lots of healthy recipes online making peanut butter based protien balls or bites i like peanut butter but not enough to make these so i cant recommend a tried and tested recipe ... ask me how i make icecream and cheesecake and thats a whole other story lol px

In Muscle Foods defense, you could have read the ingredients before you bought the food, its not a secret,,,, that's really on you. I have never used the company I am not a fan, but perhaps you should take responsibility.

I think the whole nutrition/ health so 😕 confusing. If i want to drop weight fast i eat more protein and less carbs. Try and have 5 a day fruit & veg. Maybe just try and shop for clean ingredients like you did with peanuts butter and lots of low gi carbs sweets potato/ brown rice/ pasta. Drink lots of water. Watched interesting documentary Netflix about diet and identical twins put on different diet was interesting.

@BudgetFoodieUK it's on Netflix now and called you are what you eat. Identical twins given healthy omnivore diet and 2nd twin vegan diet plus tests and exercise advice I was veggie from 1993 to 2002 was much harder in the 90s the range was a lot less. I struggle with meat as need keep to budget but also care about welfare I always buy free range eggs. The last few years with brexit there's real issues with lesser quality meat and poor labelling so meat can be from another country but processed here and labelled as British. I want to support uk farming and noticed most easter lamb deals new Zealand. I think I do want to cut down on meat but buy better / more expensive 3 It's a balancing act for sure I can't always afford organic but rspca approved.. I don't think I could go vegan I like dairy products too much.

supermarket strawberrys are not good still spanish so dont smell and hard i wouldnt waist my money leg of lamb is such a waste of money all bone u pay for

I know! Defo won’t be buying leg again. Was nice though so will find frozen lamb mince perhaps. I had to eat those strawberries the same day as they were going super bad xx
