ASDA FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST Is this the Best a SUPERMARKET CAFE has to offer?

Asda Breakfast gone up since i last had one before the pandemic , i was paying £3.50p for it now its £5 that seems a lot to me as i could buy 8 sausages , 6 eggs , a tin of beans and a loaf of bread for a fiver and then cook my own breakfast for the next 3 days lol , this is why i rarely eat at restaurants or cafes since the end of the Pandemic , prices everywhere just too expensive and i am in employment but i have learnt the hard way in life money is your best friend.

Not many people realise that Asda was started by four Leeds farmers and the name derived from Associated Dairies. Yes it started in Yorkshire and it used to be good. Since the Americans bought it though, its gone to pot and the one in Newton Abbot gave up on the cafe and now rent it out to Costa.

That Brekkie nearly looked as good as Ange

At the Leigh ASDA we don't have a Café we have McDonald's that one of 3 Macciies in Leigh the Asda cafe was replaced by McDonald's

I had breakfast at Asda once and I vowed never to repeat

Great looking breakfasts all round and very very reasonable I sneak a shot if expresso into my latte if using a machine 😉😉

Mr Mac, a slight correction if I may. The Tomato was Asda Value Salad, not Plum, the Sausages, Asda Farm Stores, the Bacon looked ok, but the eggs were cremated to hell. It looked awful to be honest, but if the eggs were cooked runny, and the fried bread was crispy, then just about worth the price. But still not a patch on Spoons 🙂 P.S. When you go to Waitrose, try the Tortilla but without the Feta Cheese.

Hello Lee and Dave and Ange yes all looked nice and good prices I always like asda the staff seem always friendly in my local huge branch. Shame the coffee was a bit tasteless from a machine not barista machine. Nice to see you all together.

Didn’t the bacon baps used to be £1. I always found it funny when u ask for a breakfast and they say they have no bread left or no bacon. It’s like errrrrr. Turn around. Turn back to them. Errrrr. We’re in a supermarket.

Thanks for making me really hungry at 3.00am when all I have in the house is a bag of frozen peas, a jar of pickled onions and a few mint humbugs. On the plus side, I am delighted to learn (if it's true) that those horrible little sauce sachets' days are numbered.

I'm not vegetarian but those sausages looked exactly like the meats one, would definitely have eaten those.

Hey Lee. Lovely to see the Blonde Angel Angie again and hi to JB. I do think Asda have better deals when comes to breakfasts. I went to Morrisons last week and I continue to be disappointed as they are just not up to scratch. I agree Sean Farrell has said on here. Try a Premier Inn all you can eat breakfast. I am coming to Castle Marina Nottingham premier inn for my birthday weekend on Friday. Will be looking forward to tucking into their all you can eat breakfasts when I’m away. Give your breakfast due to minus any mushrooms a solid 8,5 And it’s a bacon muffin to me

Jbs breakfast looks like the breakfast of champions. Portions in England to me are looking smaller especially at the chains. In sunny Yorkshire they call em bacon sarnies or bacon buttys. I must admit I couldn't see the sky light up in Missouri with Lee's egg. Lol. Angs bacon looked good. I give it a 9.5 out of 10.

One of the issues you have with Morrisons for any meal in their cafe, is the amount of time it takes to come!

Sadly, I have never had an Asda/Walmart Brekkie…The local one to me has done away with the Café and has installed “Pods” of Companies in a “Food Hall” kind of affair, it’s great, it’s progress and it’s moving forward. (Plus their new Pizza station is BANGING!!!) Lovely to see JB and the Blonde Angel again, there is definitely a chemistry between the three of you.

So pleased it was a good experience for guys, My Wife and I have been out for food Twice in the past 15 Years, True, First time was my 40th Birthday, Went to a place called "Fatso`s" In Middlesbrough (closed now) Had the best Parmo ever there, Proper Bechamel Sauce and although using chicken and not pork it was outstanding. 2nd outing was at ASDA in Stockton-On-Tees and was one of the biggest let downs ever, Sausages tasted like wall paper paste, Bacon salty and fatty, Beans (Not Heinz) Tomatoes under-cooked and not as meant to be, Fried bread dripping with grease, Black pudding (won`t go there but love it normally) and finally the eggs............ Hard as in boiled Fried Eggs.... Rant over lol....... Can`t wait until we can go out again, Come on PIP get yer arse in gear Please, Over 10 Years in the waiting..... Great review as always bro, Keep er lit..!

Looks decent enough for what it is - think getting anything to eat from a supermarket cafe is just going to be your no frills type meal. I’d be happy enough with that for the price. I used to love a Morrisons breakfast but they’re just not the same anymore.

Looks almost perfect to me, fried bread a winner, fresh tomato drops this to a 4/5 for me, I much prefer tinned on a breakfast. No black pudding.

I must admit, considering Asda is a mid-range supermarket, that was quite impressive. And made my joke about the cafe and pharmacy being side by side rather redundant 😏

As soon as I was Angie, I thought she'll be stopped by customers for help, as her hoodie was Was a green. A good looking breakfast, I too like my eggs cooked same as yours, Was A hardliner them to perfection. 🤗🍳🍽☕

A very decent supermarket breakfast. All 3 breakfasts looked good to me. Price and service very good. Decent quality ingredients, I just thought the bacon looked a tad underdone same with fried bread not crispy enough. All in all, ASDA did a good job there, must have a fair short order cook. Dave and Angie good company and good reviewers also. From me 8/10.

I had a bacon bap and a coffee in Asda while I as waiting for my sister to show up , it was ok , but I was fussy and chose my own bacon 😂and had a shot of espresso in my cappuccino 👍🏻 the lady serving was getting well cheesed off with me 😂😂

Hmmm, I thought the eggs were going to be overdone but when you dug into yours there was a nice looking bit of runny yolk. The bacon looked pretty reasonable, I haven't had fried bread for years, that looked perfect. A hash brown is a hash brown, looked okay. the beans looked congealed to be, as if they had been stewing in a hot tray for hours, what else was there? oh, I hate cooked tomatoes and I didn't see any mushrooms. The sausages didn't look like high quality but for a supermarket breakfast they looked typical. I think I will drop marks for the stewed beans and give 8.5

Sometimes you get a bostin breakfast in these supermarkets. As a kid my mum and dad use to take me to our local savacentre for tea just before we went shopping. I use to have fish fingers, beans and chips it was yummy. Regarding the baked beans you’re spot on you can always tell if they’ve been cooking in a big pot they get thick and lovely cheers 🍻

They stopped putting bottles of sauce out in supermarket cafes because people were pinching them.
