It is super sweet. Have it for 4 Month now and I love it...😍. The only thing that could be better is that the base is forced to standby after a short inactivity. Then you have the remember to press the start button again. Otherwise you don't have feedback. Two of my buddy lost in total three races cause by that circumstance. They drove out of the box and straight in the wall... I'm used to now and have the problem very seldom. But from time to time it hits me too...

Not gonna lie 18nm was smart but peoppe need to realize across the lineup it's the same motor. It's just reduced you can upgrade the 12nm one uo to 18 and then up to there biggest. Just have to unlock it later if yoy decide to upgrade. The reason the details are more on there best one is because always reducing the same motor will reduce overall dynamic range and details. It's like the 5nm dd pro the 8nm has more detail and much more power. Same motor byt it was pushed down. God I wish I liked there wheels lol. I love the details and the absolutely insane center forces but then I got to try the dd+ and it reminded me so so much of the forte. Same center forces and details. These new bases from asetek and fanatec somehow feel almost identical they have this new age force feel in the middle without any dips so you may fight it but it's such a good feeling and almost helps with the undrrsteer feeling being reduced which is awesome. Also yes this motor has 15poles so it has more steps dd+ now has 15poles also. So these new motors are fantastic. I also love how bouncy thede new motors feel so so fast moving back and forth it's like the motor throws it back. It's awesome, have to get used to the speed but once you do transitions can't be beaten. So good

Will you be releasing settings for the forte wheelbase on f1 23? Also I'm struggling on how to setup all the bindings in F1 23..

The Forte wheelbase is Euro 1,179 which includes delivery for me. Not sure where you get your price from?

Hey man. That's the price on their official website and partner sites. That's of course without delivery as that'll vary from country to country.

@@SimRacingSetups Not had one for years, my last one 20+ years ago was a Microsoft sidewinder 😆 Just built a nice new aluminium profile rig and sparco seat, this wheel and forte base and some vrs pedals

There are upgrade kits coming so you can upgrade a la prima to the power of a forte etc. Although not sure the upgrades will improve the steering wheel appearance 🤷🏻‍♂️

Aerospace machine design engineer here……. The 4 million encoder is irrelevant as consistency and accuracy are 2 different parameters and the encoder quality and its performance are unknown. Simagic 256k encoder is way more than enough. The hand resolution can only detect hz up to around 500hz ….. in that time the infinitesimal small rotation is just not possible to measure. It just software that dictates ffb style and what is amplified
