I like how Asetek is just charging into the sim racing market. This second set looks like such a good price-performance sweet spot. Can't wait for the review, and possibly a comparison video between the 2
Yeah so far so good. I like their approach at the moment too. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next! Yeah there will be a comparison video for sure
Get initial impressions video! Looking forward to your review once the embargo is lifted. I was lucky enough to get a set of pre-ordered Invicta's.... I've finally got used the brake feeling and now love them!
How did you get the URL to this video? Must be a RU-vid issue. I didn't put it live at all. Should be live in the next few hours :) Thanks for the comment!
The "Loud Pedal" looks identical to me, I can't wait for your review. I still haven't upgraded my equipment from the G920 because it seems every time I start to pull the trigger something new comes along and I have to wait for the reviews of the new equipment. I guess I should look at it as a great time to be a sim racer with all this new stuff coming to market. The one thing I would like to know specifically is, since the pedal plate on these rigs looks the same, how do you like the heel rest? It appears to have raised ribs (the silver lines and the logo) that looks as if it could be very hard on your heels and that it would not be comfortable for us "sock racers". Let me know if I'm off base here. Thanks Laurence!
The raised ribs are actually not bad on socks. They’re quite grippy for shoes though especially when you pull your feet back towards you after a session or getting out of your rig. But I would prefer if they were smooth. That said, they’re not a problem and definitely not a reason to avoid these pedals.
I'll watch your Invicta review, and ignore everything you say about the hydraulic brakes and price. Also the Forte set looks like it will cost more than $500. Still out if my reach if that is the case.
