Analyzing the ASF-X Shinden II from the recent Ace Combat 7 DLC release, Original Aircraft DLC. This is a part of my Ace Combat 7 Analyzed series where I analyze different aircrafts from the game.
ASF-X Shinden II is very underwhelming. Its weapons are not new and doesn't over much new things other than the aircraft itself. It is a unique design indeed.

You do know that the flight speed changes with the altitude, right? The higher you are the further it rises. I hope you’ve been analysing the top speed on the same altitude to in order for it to still be comparable.

ASF-X Shinden II for me is the best dogfighter of the 3 new DLC... It doesn't have unique SP weapons but in exchange it got a pure performance and the plane itself is very good looking and reminiscent of a true eagle (because of how the wings move depending to speed you are)... I use it alot in multiplayer...!

i boght the cfa 44 nosferatu becouise is more poerfull and the statics more high,, this aircraft shinden is a waste of money in that case rafaele is much better for exaple LACM , and the other weapon air to air , anyway i only bough the nosferatu, not the all dlc in the pack.

@@woodie5536 That depends on how you define “better”. As far as aircraft performance goes yeah the XFA-27 and Shinden II are better (ASF-X is the best in my eyes). However when it comes to special weaponry the CFA-44 is extremely hard to beat. Sure the MSTMs and QAAMs are more reliable than the ADMMs (albeit the only missiles I’d use over them), but the ADMMs are extremely effective against most targets (minus ships of course). EMLs speak for themselves so no need to cover that.

"The cfa44 is hard to beat" no its not the cfa44 is a joke admms in campaign is ok but terrible in mp so no its not the best plus x02, su33 and destroy it any day

@@woodie5536 The CFA-44 runs dual EMLs. That’s 2 shots and 52 rounds vs 22-30 and only one shot. I didn’t say it was unbeatable and of course another EML aircraft will give it problems.

As it's stats go, the Shinden II has a lot going for it. It's a great jet. And it gets even better, depending on what parts you put into it. I used to do research on the original shinden. It had multiple problems, and by the time they were worked out, the war had ended.

I love how it handles but hate it's armaments. If Team Aces wants to really get some attention for AC7 then they need to add a dlc option paid of course to where you can heavily customize any plane and maybe more sp missions but this time where the player can play as either Count, Skald, Jaeger, Lanza, or Huxian and we finally get to hear what Trigger sounds like

I think it resembles the original J7W Shinden instead... With those forward canards and the centered twin engine, also not forget to mention the tail that moves up and down pretty much resembles the WWII counterpart...

Honestly out of the 3 Original planes dlc the Nosferatu looks the best and Shinden II comes second

I'm wondering about those wingtips. Any reason to be pointing them down? Does it create more lift. I've seen passenger planes with upward wingtips but never this. Interesting.

Did you ever play the A10 on tje hardest difficulty in stuff like the stonehenge mission or fleet destruction? It does happend that 1 of the 200 missiles fired at you hits.
