Two references I noticed: The line, *am I a sage or a murderer* is a nod to Asgore's full name being an anagram of "sage or murderer". The line, *grand spear of justice* not only references Undyne, but the notes during that part are similar to the beginning of Spear of Justice, with only a variation of timing.

*You feel there is no way back. And everything in you screams to let him win. And yet, you know you'll just end up here once more. *You raise your weapon and strike. Perhaps, this is the only mercy this broken father can accept now.

Asgore didnt destroy the mercy button bcuz it was a fight to the death.. He destroyed it cuz he believed he doesn't deserve any kind of mercy

I love this so much!! Your voice is so powerful and beautiful! Bergentruckung/Asgore is one of the most powerful and meaningful songs in the soundtrack (in my opinion), and your vocals definitely help reinforce that!

Even after these years I still come back to this version. It's the definitive version of the lyrics for me, any others just don't sound right!
