Jessie was so so professional at this point, she understood that Ash has a great potential and he can hit the higher notes but he was probably not confident and comfortable on the stage at all then Jessie run to the stage and boosted him like a professional singer coach. I think that's the talent, ability of empathy and human mental power.

i think it has something to do with the contracts singers sign with companies like this, not sure about The Voice, but i've heard the X Factor and Got Talent have some shady clauses within their contracts that restrict what people can do after they are done with the show

@@ThePalatineHill I know a girl here in denmark who tried to apply to x-factor, they have to sign a contract giving them exclusive rights to use the contestants for the live show and they werent allowed to work within any other type of music in that period, youtube, solo, etc.

I have watched every country The Voice. I have seen a lot of outstanding auditions but this is by far the best for me. Its to bad this guy isn't popular because the only reason he got eliminated when he did is cause he didn't get votes... We lose out on a talented singer like this cause someone else had there family and friends and town call in with crazy votes to eliminate him.

The reason I love this so much is because he makes it his own song. He doesn't try to sing it like Michael Hutchence (and that would be a mistake, because INXS had a really unique sound). He's just himself and he puts his own spin on the rhythm, timing and range. A good cover SHOULD be different.

FINALLY...It is nice to see someone who finally gets it. Refreshing to see that over so many people who whine because someone does not sing a cover EXACTLY like the original singer does. A good cover should NEVER just be a copy of the original. Any singer can just take a song and carbon copy sing it exactly like the original singer...it takes a REAL talent to take a song, change it up and make it their own rendition of the original.

Normally when someone sings a cover version of a song 9 times out of 10 they “murder” it but in Ash Morgan’s cover of “Never tear us apart” he made the song his own even better than the original. This is the best audition I’ve ever seen not only on “The voice” but in any talent show, it was absolutely sensational.

Good audition, yes and technically sound. But that the difference - Michael was anything but technical in his style of singing which is one of the best things that made him and the original iconic.
