I wonder how Zac will handle the galar league since gym leaders will be entering too. Maybe it’ll be like the games where there’s a minor league and a major league. The minor league will be the gym challengers facing to get into the major league and then they’ll face off against the gym leaders in a tournament for chance to face Leon in a full battle.

Jessie being a coordinator was actually a great addition to the Sinnoh Anime. It gave Team Rocket more purpose and story than just blasting off after failing every episode.

Well, actual ianoliano, Jessie competed in a few contests before the Diamond and Pearl anime, and even entered a contest before May did (AG013 was Jessie’s first contest episode, while May’s was AG035.)

It’s always awesome whenever one of Ash’s previous friends returns from their travels and catch up with him and also meeting his new friends in the process. It’s also nice to see Jessie actually enjoying herself in returning to Pokémon Contests again and realizes how much she enjoys them, despite her loss to Ash. I also like how Dawn has an Hisuian Typhlosion that the regular one from a Time-Space distortion as a nod to Legends Arceus. Looking forward to the next episode.

The way you improved Dawn’s arc from the anime so quickly is amazing! Her having a Hisuian Typhlosian and being top contest star, like nbd, is iconic. Imagine being a Jesselina fan. Here is an artist you love that does things like no one else does and suddenly becomes one of the top players in the sinnoh grand festival. Then she just quits without anyone having any idea of why or where she is now. Then she just reappears in galar of all places for no obvious reason to then just disappear mysteriously again.

I’m happy to see Dawn return in the Sword and Shield series and her getting Hisuian Typholsion it’s a great callback to previous female companion return such as Misty in the Advanced Generation series and May in the Diamond and Pearl series. Now I would like to see Ash get Johtonian Typholsion. I like how the inclusion of the Sinnoh Festival in Galar with Sinnoh’s culture,lore and history and Starter Pokemon it’s a great way to tie in BDSP and Legends Arceus.

From an epic beginning, to a heartwarming middle act; Zac this was truly beautiful. Gave me real Diamond and Pearl vibes just listening to the background music. There is so much to be said about part 11. Bringing back contests was a nice touch. To make Dawn top coordinator of Sinnoh, giving her a Hisuian Typhlosion, and have Ash defeat her in a contest!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!! I was gonna question why Dawn is there for the umpteenth time, but then I remembered it's to promote BDSP and PL:A. *THANK YOU* for not shoehorning Cynthia in there. Knowing the writers, if they were doing your idea of a SWSH anime instead of Journeys, they would've shoehorned her in during the BDSP/PL:A promotion episodes.

Zac, my man! You did it. You handled dawn a lot better than journeys did. Although I have to admit the space-time distortion zones were a nice way for dawn to get Hisuian typhlosion, it’s kind of weird to include them because of the whole team galactic thing. Unlike the sun and moon anime where the ultra wormholes and ultra beasts became a recurring thing, the space-time distortion zones weren’t a thing after Cyrus’s defeat. So I don’t know it just feels off to me, but great job Zac. Can’t wait to see how you’ll handle the crown tundra and Lillie.

ok hands up, i really like seeing how ash's and dawn's battle styles differ here dawn is all about winning with points, meanwhile ash is here getting pokemon to the pokecenter no matter the format.

It’s pretty obvious of who Dawn is gonna train with Srevena and I’m not surprised their both amazing characters and we’ll see if you put them both in the battle of Ash vs Leon Zack.

After I watched this I was struct with an idea. If Serena were to make an appearance as well, (witch i don't think she will but just in case) maybe she could have a Swampert. think about it, after XY and Z she want the Hoenn region and Mudkip is a Hoenn starter, so you can see where I'm going with this. Maybe she could be practicing and a Mudkip is watching and really likes what Serena is doing and joins in and Serena is shocked and seeing that Mudkip likes it, she decides to catch it. Then after a while its evolves into Marshtomp and then becomes Swampert because Swampert is a Pokemon who can mega evolve maybe she could get mega evolution. Anyway I love this and I cant wait for part of this series, keep up the go work Zac :) :) :)

When I saw Dawn on the season 3 Crowning Legacy poster, I thought she would just make a cameo or flashback, but it’s awesome/amazing she is actually returning so I cannot wait to see how it goes. Make it epic Zac and very special.
