The series is set approximately 30 years after the first three Evil Dead films, and serves as a sequel to that trilogy. Ash Williams works at the Value Stop as a simple stock boy. Also working at the store is his friend Pablo and the object of Pablo's affections, Kelly. Ash has seemingly done very little with his life since returning from 1300 AD at the end of Army of Darkness, and the beginning of the series sees him living in a trailer and drinking alone in bars. However, Ash must soon renounce his routine existence and become a hero once more by taking up arms and facing the titular Evil Dead. Pablo and Kelly decide to join him on his quest to save humanity.

Rob Tapert has such passion for the crazy stories he films. Always cool to listen to him tell the inside ''how to'' of his series. I love them all. From Xena to Ash. Spartacus was my favorite one, though. So brutal & raw.

Kelly is hotstuff. I dated a girl who resembles her a lot. Charming and loving, but wanted to get real serious in a hurry. Maybe if i was older ?

What a shame. Even BC is disenheartened over the bad news. I wish more people would have subbed to the stations that carried it like I did to support the show. In my book cancelling the show was the wrong decision. 20 more episodes to see it through to the end wouldn't have killed anyone... I'll say it again, what a shame.

We have to face it, the show wasn't making money. Don't get me wrong, I love it, it's fucking amazing, but for a show to go on, people have to watch it, and obviously there weren't enough. AvED will be dearly missed.
