Ash vs Evil Dead | New York Comic Con 2017 Panel | STARZ 

It is actually a cringey attempt to make some money off the Evil Dead brand before Bruce retires. Its a bad show overall, the story is boring , with generic underdeveloped characters, overuse of CGI , no stakes since when main characters die they just bring them back , not remotely scary or even erie, loosk cheap as hell....head up the ass and face first into urine "jokes" ? Seriously? Sounds like this season we are gonna have sperm "jokes" too... Also, they have turned Ash's character into a complete fucking idiot for comedic effect... Its no wonder why the show gets no big viewership basically just surviving of the Bruce Campbell fans till it gets cancelled this season. Simply wasted potential to expand the Evil Dead franchise, they wasted it into the most generic shit ever instead of doing something actually good with it.

I wouldn't describe it as generic. Last season I saw a man get strangled by possessed intestines while his head is stuck up the ass of a corpse. It was some of the funniest slapstick comedy I've ever seen. In a world of ultra serious and deep tv shows (which I have no problem with) I find this show to be a nice change.

One reason to lament the invention of the internet is because voices such as Wonderlandian's is permitted to be aired. What is he talking about? I myself am not a "Bruce Campbell fan" (as much as I have an appreciation for the actor). On its own merit, the show was simply fantastic. "Underdeveloped characters"? The characters were simply wonderful and the chemistry between all was perfect. "Generic"? The show was extremely creative. The CGI was rarely conspicuous. The production values were impressive, and as the lady fan in the audience remarked from the video above, the music was first rate. As far as dead characters being brought back, come on. It's a given to suspend one's disbelief in a colossal way for this type of show that doesn't take itself too seriously. (I will give the whiner a point for complaining about the "urine" and "poop" humor.) _Ash vs. Evil Dead_ was prime entertainment, and what a pity it did not continue. .

No petition will ever help. More people from USA need to watch the series on STARS.

It's simple - people either subscribe to Starz or it gets cancelled.

@@da10cent41 yup, also this Starz site/app, also doesnt work for us in the UK even if we signed up, we would just get "not available outside the US", which is likely 1 more reason why the show got axed, hard to get cash to carry on when the audience is limited to the US.

As much as I love Kelly and Pablo, I think that would be the deal-breaker for me. I think giving Ash a proper finale would be great, as some sort of "last blaze of glory". But it should mark the very end of the franchise then. Now rumors state that S3 will be the last, so who knows? But as long as it's not cancelled,we might still get two more seasons AND a new movie. So I hope it won't happen.

TheHitherto It would suck but it's kind of the "Evils" way of showing him that everyone he cares about dies, and he'll always be miserable.

People die in the Evil Dead universe all the time. Doesn't mean it's the end for his character though.

starz decided to wait because both stranger things & walking dead come out in october. Ash is just for the fans. It will never be able to compete with those other mainstream shows. I wish it was sooner too but it's better to not have the competition against those big shows.
