Yeah, I just realized Team Rocket’s arc, here. They’re backstabbing Clive and Penny to take over Team Star’s territory, setting up some kind of Rocket Invasion arc that’s going to be AWESOME, with Giovanni gaining Terrastalization and possibly CURBSTOMPING Naranja Academy.
Even better idea: Team Rocket and The Explorers invade Area Zero at the same time when Koraidon taking his final step towards his recovery or during the Indigo Disk's finale (if the latter, then the roster for Champion-ranked Trainers can be expanded to include Hop and Gary, former being invited by the latter), resulting in a multi-pronged war of survival that pisses off every Paradox Pokemon (and the robot Professor) living there, and by some coincidence, the Black Rayquaza shows up and begins cleaning house. And if Z-A is a factor when the "what-if" is still going, said Rayquaza can MEGA EVOLVE on its own. In short, Area Zero is going to be more of a smoldering crater than it already is.
A nice gag that could be used in the future could have Team Rocket in their hideout counting the coins the accumulated with secondary jobs, eventually celebrating as they reached 1000 James would then store them all in Gimmighoul's chest, causing it to evolve, which would initially make everyone cheer until they realise all their money are gone now
I get the feeling that the reason that Penny was so reluctant to show she has a shiny Eevee. Is that maybe the kids that bullied her tried to take it from her, saying that she didn’t deserve such a rare Pokémon… But she doesn’t have to worry about Ash and the others. (She’d better watch out for Team Rocket though)
That’s a very interesting theory. It also could be that the Shiny Eevee is a dead giveaway to the Team Star Bosses. Obviously they don’t know who Penny is by looking at her but they might know about the Shiny Eevee as they know their boss is also a victim of bullying. She may have told them about it.
Capsakid/Scovillain is so perfect for James and I’m so happy you let him catch one. I really do hope that when it evolves one head bites him while the other one breathes fire on him.
Only Misty managed once (the episode where Ash battled Lt Surge). After that, nobody never saw through their disguises again. Sometimes, it sucks when Ash & whoever He's with never sees obvious disguises no matter what Team Rocket wears. Honestly, the episode from AG where Team Rocket disguised themselves as Norman, Caroline, May & Max was the worst. The people of Petalburg knew Norman's family by reputation & couldn't see through disguises? Even Paul would've seen a disguise from a mile away.
Well when account for the Nurse Joys, Officer Jenny's and Don George's and that princess who looks like Dawn, the two Max's. Just looking like someone is not enough.

I love the way you handled Team Rocket from the SwSh story and in this SV series, giving them better and actual narratives and paved paths and storylines similarly to their Sun and Moon arcs. Hoping for a huge arc for the Explorers and the Team Rocket and their team bosses.

I knew James would get a Capsakid and a potential Scovillain. Team rocket might have a stacked team for this region. Cramorant, Pinurchin, (possible Gholdengo but they'll probably stay in their cute Gimmighoul stage), potential Scovillain, Grimmsnarl, Polteageist, potential Tinkaton, whatever new pokemon Jessie might get and of course Wobbuffet. They might even give Ash a run for his money if they keep this up
I am getting very excited on what’s on store for Team Rocket. There isn’t really an Evil Team in Scarlet and Violet (Team Star is legit a bunch of students) so this presents many possibilities to be explored here. It really seems like Zach is taking the competence from Team Rocket in Black and White but still giving them their goofy nature so they don’t become edgy like in Black and White. People often forget that Jessie, James, and Meowth at their peaks can be serious threats with their creativity, opportune moments, disguises, and determination. Meowth especially is a lot stronger than most people think. If you recall, when he fell in love with a Glameow, he had enough motivation to fight off both Ash’s Infernape and Jessie’s Seviper. He’s strong. He just needs the right motivation. What gets in their way is bad luck, overconfidence, and occasional idiocy. But if you remove that, and they can be dangerous. Now I’m eagerly waiting for their grand scheme to unfold.
Actually, there is an "evil team" from the Horizons anime that got imported to this rewrite. Team Rocket VS The Explorers. They're going to end up stepping on each others' toes sooner rather than later.
I shall not rest until Ash's Primeape comes back and evolves into Annihilape. If he doesn't, I shall die from rage, just like I wished Primeape could have done to evolve.
I wonder why NO ONE who’s made an Ash Paldea team vid on YT has included Annihilape! Granted considering Zac in particular, as well as Roy getting his partner, that could work as a cool twist while not necessarily compromising Ash’s team’s type synergy. Who knows?
Damn, the Paldea crew got wrecked without Ash and Koraidon! Though I will admit them getting hit by those rocks was about as funny as the Galar crew falling down into that one Raid Den in the Wild Area.

I have an idea of what you can do for TR(team rocket). Short version: Operation tempest but with the ruinous legends and on a larger scale. Long version: While taking over the bases, they could also plan a large scale invasion with the entire team. They would do this by using the ruinous legends to take over. This could work because there's a decent amount of stakes they can find surrounding the bases. And how this would happen is with the 7 heroes accidentally stumbling into 4 different stakes and when Raifort explains what they did is dangerous, TR would over hear this and report to Giovanni and plan to use their power in their invasion.

I got the perfect idea for how ash will catch Finizen: Ash finds out that finizen’s pod was captured by team rocket, so the gang help it rescue them. After saving the pod, the leader finizen decides to stay with ash out of gratitude
It's cool that Team Rocket has an actual strategy for how they want to take over the Paldea region and a new Pokémon. I'm really curious to see how their storyline plays out.
I do think that at some point Team Rocket realizes that they may need help. So they contact Giovanni for some help, and thus we get the return of Peirce and Doctor Zager. They are the more serious members of Team Rocket, and they are quite baffled by the trio's antics at first, but do warm up to it over time, especially Peirce. Any humor from these two are mostly dry humor. However there is one other thing. Turns out Mime Jr. hitched a ride in order to reunite with James since it missed him and was tired of being on the sidelines, and so now James says thst the Team feels like it's fully back together. I hope you like this idea for future chapters.
First of all, wow that came quick! Or did August go by that fast? Either way, thank you for your hard work! Second, Ash VS Giacomo was pretty great, with Nymble being the MVP of the raid, but unexpectedly, Team Rocket joining the raid and using the Operation to hijack Team Star's bases and make it their own is nothing short of brilliant. Third, Bombirder rather than Klawf? Bold, but given everyone is going West, I guess it makes sense. Anyhoo, we look forward to the next course/video, hungry for more.

Great set, I watched this when I was in the mall food court having a break from playing IIDX Epolis at Round 1 (went back afterwards xD). Nice to see James get a Capsikid, it definitely fits him. Nice to see Pikachu use Terastilization. Funny how Team Rocket knew Clavell was Clive (yet Ash still gets fooled by their disguises xD). The Team Star battle against Giacomo was good as well. Great work, can't wait til the next one.
Once again, Ash is defeating tough opponents with his tiny Pokémon. This time, though, I liked how it went. It felt like he actually strategized and didn't rely on plot armor. In fact, I appreciate the overall lack of plot armor in this part. The Segin Squad raid was fun and while I think the Open Sky Titan battle was a little rushed (what is this, the Kalos League?) I still like how the team worked together and Rowlet's evolution was a pleasant surprise. Okay, time for the best part of the video. Team Rocket were awesome in this episode. Capsakid was one of the Pokémon I hoped James would catch, and he did! Hooray! -I especially love the gimmick where it bites James and makes him feel spicy.- Their involvement in Operation: Starfall is great and I can't wait to see more episodes with them. I was unsure about them bringing back their Galar Pokémon (especially with Jessie's now evolved Grimmsnarl), but if their going to balance it out with new Paldea Pokémon, then I can roll with that. One of my favorite parts yet. Keep up the great work, Zac!
It's an awesome series so far, but I do feel there are too many protagonists at the moment that there is not enough screentime for all of them to be properly fleshed out. It is only my opinion, but perhaps Penny, Nemona and Arven should split off from the group for their own respective goals (probably an argument where they try to force the group to follow their direction without saying why they really want to - Penny wants to defeat Team Star before all her firneds get expelled, Arven wants to heal Mastiffboss, and perhaps Nemona needs someone strong enough to beat her as a reason to stay in Paldea else her family want her to leave the region with them which she doesn't want, or something like that) and let Ash travel with Liko, Roy and Dot. Then they'd only meet up again near or around the next areas of their expertise (Titans, Gyms, and Team Star)?
Honestly that could actually work if he used any of his old Pokémon. Like he tried to snap Kieran back to reality because he’s upset a friend of his is like this.
You can't forget they're also simple stand-lone stories, and towns and cities and wilds between the locations in the game. Meeting profefessors, gym leaders, former companions, and other important people from other regions. Also, who is Ash's flyer?
Ash is going to go challenge the gyms and beat each one as normal, but now because of his new job, he's also going to probably think back to his time challenging Visqez last time he was at the Vermillion gym. How she use the technique against him that she normally uses to fight ground types. He'll probably be wondering how do trainers who specialize in a specific type defend against disadvantages. Understanding stuff like that will be a big step in his journey, even if it doesn't boost his intelligence level.

I never would have considered Capsakid a Pokémon for Team Rocket. I mostly considered it a Pokémon for Arven due to it and its evolution Scovillian being based on Peppers,but hey, James got a new member for Team Rocket.
I have a what if scenario for this fan series Since team rocket is now planning to take over all the Star Bases in paldea and a couple base takeovers later team rocket's presence in the region would start to grow and eventually Penny would realize what's happening but before she can do anything Matori would confront her in person and reveal that she knows Penny's secret about being Team Star's big boss and basically begins blackmailing her, threatening to release that knowledge to everyone in the academy at the press of a button unless she does whatever Matori tells her to do. Anyway this is what i think could possibly happen
