@ashameanslife5963 greetings actually iam igbo from Nigeria 🇳🇬. I was just looking at your results. I did not actually have the same results thst you did just in case there was any misunderstanding. I love seeing how excited people are when they take the tests. And when they get the results and the value the importance of cultural heritage.
Love your video. We share the same passion of wanting to know our heritage. Life long dream for me. I love how professional and excited you are. Great video 😊
Congratulations! Yes, definitely visit those country's. It is very exciting to go on this journey. I will be taking my test soon. I can't wait to get the results. My plan is to test a relative (male on my grandfather side because he had no brothers or sons just daughters and he has past on. I want to know about his lineage to tell my mother. I will do the maternal test to share with my mother and my sisters and my aunts. Peace and blessings.
Thanks for commenting. Both of my parents are Black...but we know that because of slavery and the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade...African Americans have European DNA. African Ancestry pinpoints which country and which people based on maternal or paternal match.😊
My parents, aunts and uncles have all passed. With africanancestry.com, a female can only trace her female(maternal) lineage but a male can trace both male(paternal) and female(maternal) lineages. My brother tested for my fathers paternal and mothers maternal. My female cousin tested for my fathers maternal because her mother and my father are siblings. Hope that helps😀...it confuses me when I explain it.😄 Thanks for your comment!😀
