So I think that’s what confuses her. How was he so invested when he was messing with multiple people besides her. Why? Irv has had her name in his mouth repeatedly for a good while now and talked wreckless about her non-stop. Irv has already made a fool of himself so he has every right to defend herself and set the record straight.

Ppl keep saying he was married but fail to realize irv was separated and not sleeping with Deb for the last 9 years by time him and ashanti was dealing. Irv had an apartment in Manhattan and Deb had the house in New rochelle. Deb said it herself at that point they just had paperwork and he would come see the kids on the weekends. The reason ashanti was comfortable dealing with him was cuz of that reason BUT remember irv had several women he was linked to at that time so ashanti jumped in another relationship which got him upset. I'm willing to bet if irv didn't have those other women ashanti would have stayed with irv for sure but why stay when he has other women as well that's probably why she was comfortable being with Nelly. The ashamed part comes from their trauma not her relations to him. Her saying I will hear him out for the Apology but not talk to him after means u give a man one minute or 1 inch u will give him an hour or more or a mile or more. So she will repair things with him just only of he grew and was sincere
