I would like the date of this interview. Because Nelly was definitely trying to get back with Ashanti, but her was hanging out with Shantel. March 14th Nelly post him and Ashanti in a tbt, but a month later he posted Shantel as his WCW. Ashanti was definitely in control, but when he started dealing with Shantel she CUT any and ALL communication with Nelly OFF! Hence the reason he moved on physically with Shantel. Emotionally he was stuck on Ashanti!

I think something else happened that made her cut him off because as at October 2014 Ashanti granted an interview with Ebro where she admitted she and Nelly were cool, that’s the interview Ebro said her and Nelly will get back together, so it means even after Nelly posting shantel as his WCW in April and July or so he and Ashanti were still cool,,so it has to be something extremely serious that made her cut him off not necessarily shantel, I agree with you about the part he had to move with shantel after Ashanti cut him off but I think there was something else that made her cut him off completely.
