@@Dig_Duke_SFM Ashe is one of the strongest dps characters in the game, you're realistically probably just in a tier where people have no idea how to aim. In which yes, an aim reliant hero would he very useless
THIS is how an announcement should feel like, the crowd roaring and clapping and with a presenter that shows enthusiasm when he talks about the game. Not whatever the Diablo announcement was supposed to be.
Yea, its surprising how many people are leaving Blizzard right now. But Jeff was a big loss. He had a connection to the community I haven’t really seen any other developer achieve.
I hate that I cried while watching this. It’s so nice hearing the excitement other people share for the same thing I do Edit: to the people commenting negative shit on a comment made 3 years ago, I’m embarrassed for you 💀
I have become addicted to crowd reactions, I love it, the emotion really tends to get to me... even if I dont care about the games... good example is the FF7 remake reaction, that shit is hype
It's sad that back then this game was actually not dead and we were getting new heroes and maps and everything was exciting, now all we are doing constantly waiting on new content and the new overwatch :(
Imo the game is only dead if you want it to be dead. Of course, it's pretty torturistic from their side to, what is looks like, make us wait a year for new content, but i still think the game is fun, and you can find new ways to improve, or see how high you can get in comp. And at least they have said that theyre gonna keep us updated, and show us more behind the scenes stuff, while were waiting
@@fluffyx1676 they said we arent getting any new content until overwatch 2 which at earliest is gonna release late 2022 so literally 3 years we are gonna be starved of content
@@Saroniss overwatch 2 was revealed in late 2019 and since its reveal we have gotten one character and no new maps so when i say starved i mean starved
i can’t believe it’s been THIS long since ashe was revealed. i remember queuing to try her but never being able to because people insta-locked her. and being god damn terrified of bob. good ol’ days
What I always love about these live announcement video's is imagining how big of a morale boost it must be for the developers. Working hard to design something and seeing a crowd get super hyped for it must feel really good.
Jeff has grown a lot in public speaking. You can see it when you compare his videos from the early days of Overwatch to now. But most important of all, he was the one who convinced Blizzard executives to keep Overwatch 2 as an expansion instead of essentially making everyone buy PVP twice. He convinced them of keeping PVP free for Overwatch 1 owners and continue the business model of free PVP content updates (heroes, maps, PVP modes, etc.) and to only charge money for the PVE expansion and cosmetics.
Probably if they do the event again it’s going to be in November like normal or they are completely changing the dates closer to blizzconline. Perferably the November times in my opinion
When the Omnic stands up. Everyone freaks out and starts screaming and waving their arms around and it's like... you don't have any idea what you're cheering for do you. Everyone thought it was Athena lol.
Idk what to say, this video was an emotional rollercoaster. After all that has happened during the last couple of months, Jeff quiting, the lawsuit against blizzard and ofc the lack of content during the last year this video made me speechless. Just seeing overwatch in its prime makes me wanna cry and smile at the same time. I just hope that overwatch 2 will come out soon so we can continue getting new content like heroes, maps and cinematics like this one.
I love how even tho she’s a Notorious criminal, she still acts like a rich girl, take how at the end of the “Reunion” short, she screams at bib to do something.
This Overwatch Cinematic blew me away, I mean they usually do but the music was always presented so beautifully. The voice lines were perfect. and man the crowd reaction in addition only made this so much more enjoyable to watch. Also Hardest Jebait 2018 on Eco
i miss the good old days with jeff. man at least made it SOUND like he played the game. Its insane how far and how fast the dev team fell when he left.
Man, I joined the game when it's already overwatch 2 and now I see a tiny part of what I missed out. The reveal was so hype unlike how they just drop it on season trailers. The group of crowd was also there to make the environment more enjoyable and people were really enjoying the entire blizcon or whatever that event is. It's a really cool way to announce a character and it's obvious that they dont do that anymore but I also think that it's also only as hype because the fans was there to hype it out. Knowing how it is now, people would probably just make comments like "mid" "cancel this game" and so many comments like they learned how to speak from twitter or something.
Why dont they make full CGI movies of their universes??? (Including real humans in Warcraft was a huge mistake, it messes with the lighting and relationship between real/cgi)
"We enjoy create new thing for our player" Ah, its a shame that Blizzard doesn't think that way anymore. Now its more like, "have you spent some money yet"
I did not play this character when she was added to the roster, and 4 years later, i picked her up and shes my third favorite DPS to play. Love Ashe and Bob and cant imagine the game without them now
