For some reason, the captions occasionally cut off due to positioning issues (my guess) on mobile devices (at least they were on my phone). I assume this is some server-side issue with RU-vid that I have no control over, but they seem to appear just fine on non-mobile devices. RU-vid gonna RU-vid, I guess “¯\_(ツ)_/¯“ Also, I repositioned the NohBoard overlay towards the bottom-left in subsequent videos (just above the HP/Armor and Geiger Counter displays); didn't even think of the fact that it was going to block the dialogue boxes at the time of recording :P
This total conversion looks damn good and I'm excited for what's to come. It's damn inspiring that the Doom community is still putting out gold after all these years.
I was expecting a *ping* at the end - for the sewer level, then I remembered this isn't Civvie11 😂 Anyway, I sure like the weapon models and animations in this game, the combat load for the Remington 870 and that suppressed MAC-10 that has Snake Plissken written all over it. I think the 9mm autoloader is the Glock 19, that would be on par with the ammo capacity, 15 in mag and one in the chamber
Yeah I was thinking Glock 19 or 17 for sure, haha. I'm sure I could add a "ding!" for sewer appearances if I really wanted to, especially since Civvie changed to using the zombie sound effect from Quake :p
Definition of too much information/commentary. Clearly very skilled at the game though. Obviously really enjoy playing the game, know it inside and out. Nice playthrough
Damn. I think your graphic settings are messed up. The game usually has great dark and bright contrast areas and I think you also use some wrong filter since everything looks like someone smeared vaseline over these textures.
The lighting is mostly done during editing, since I had videos be way too dark in the past without lifting the shadows first. And I think either Bilinear or Trilinear Filtering was on by default in GZDoom, but it honestly is completely unnoticeable to me unless I specifically focus on it (which never happens :P)
Hmm, if you have the standalone version, then Dead Man Walking should be an option on the episode selection menu. Granted, that may also depend on which version of the Standalone download you have. But it's just a standalone episode, so it won't be bundled along with 2063 or Afterglow.

Yeah I finally decided to go the commentary way and stick with it, starting with this very playthrough, haha. Kinda have been thinking of revisiting my old ones and redoing them with commentary, but I'm still mulling that idea over in the ol' noggin.
Ah, I remember years ago when Strife was the "forgotten" Doom engine game. And here we are with a mod that borrows some sprites and has a similar conversation UI.
