When i did an immersive play thru I used two mods that helped a ton. One is a compass. I wish it was a build item sure. But the HUD compass works well. Also i forget the name but theres a mod where you can burn extra boss items and it functions like a vegisir and points you to the boss, so you can check your orientation periodically. Also since theres a ton of road building in immersive, speedy paths mod is optional but also really good.
Looking forward to this. Just to let you know that it's possible to make multiple Paint maps. Detailed local maps for various islands/areas and a smaller scale 'world map'.
