It's not tough and all my IIT Professor friends agree. Point is, there is a holy grail pattern to crack the exams. Happy that now teaching in such technical University where assessment of students are not based on Papers but innovation and patent application numbers.
1st year is toughest for all students specially who are in non-circuital branch. Here you are messing directly with those 1st order players of IIT. thats why generally CG increases with time
