My experience with ashok Leyland truck is very bad i bought a 4220 from Siliguri. I choose it because they gave a lower rate compared to TATA. But since i bought the truck is a constant headache.. 1) first is that the bs6 exhaust system and the clutch always fails. I have 3 breakdowns of clutch. And 5 breakdown of bs6 unit.. after constant breakdown of the same problem i think AL system is faulty. 2) secondly the service people don't know how to fix a bs6 truck. And after repeated replacements it still breakdowns. 3) there is no parts available with dealership. So they will tell you to wait for parts! expect this wait to be long.. you don't want to spend days with goods loaded with your driver in remote location. 4) after so many breakdowns i feel the company is making faulty vehicles on purpose to make money in service. I felt it because on every trip i had to spend labour costs on dealership.. and the problems keep coming back. 5) compared to tata they have less service centre so they always take more time. My truck always had delayed freight delevery and i face losses everytime. 6) you can't complain about anything to anyone because you will never know whom to reach. The maximum you would expect is from AL breakdown service , who are just call center guys... Who don't understand the amount of money lost per day in a breakdown. You will never expect a new vehicle to breakdown so frequently.. if in new is such as condition of the truck than imagine after 3 yrs when the warranty expires what will happen! I am now tired ... I don't want this truck. I have no intention to promote TATA but the system in Ashok Leyland is very worst for a customer.. the dealership and the service centre know how to distance themselves from your problems. I think i will go to the consumer forum and file a case. I can't spend so much money on breakdowns on a new truck.

South Indian 1st choice ashok Leyland. Is best.

Anmol ji i request you to ask always ask average in numerical =ACCHA hai samch nahi ata. BS6 average is definately lesser than BS4. Secondly always ask Adblue availibility problems and its price hike effects. Thirdly now BS6 truck are more feature oriented that means more software ,more electronics in the vehicle so -Are drivers are compatible for driving such technology????
