Ashokan Farewell 

Each time I play this it's like the first time I have heard it. I can't get enough.

This is by far the most beautiful rendition of Ashokan Farewell on guitar I've ever listened to. Thank you so much for sharing and BRAVO!

A masterful performance. This is a melody that grabs you by the heart and throat, and Shaun Murray gets full marks.

Wow! I bet Ken Burns is kicking himself that he didn't have this arrangement also to add to his "Civil War" series. This version would have complemented certain portions so well!

This is the first time that I have heard Ashokan Farewell played on the guitar, it sounds beautiful, what an outstanding musician.

First heard this song on Ken Burn's Civil War Series - Intrigued with this part of our history and the words and music of Ashokan Farewell just bring the feelings and reality of that war closer to home.....

Such a beautiful tune. I too fell in love with it back when the Civil War series was on TV. Shaun, your rendition is up there along with the Doc and the lady as the best I've heard.
