Really like this young brother on the drums. Rarely do you see young gospel drummers just play what’s needed and not overdoing it just for show. Shows a lot of musical maturity in my opinion and I’ve been doing the drum thang for over 40 yrs.
You know it’s a groove when the drummer trying to lay low , duck, or get under the beat lol you see how he duck like he trying get down low with the beat 😁 n the way that bass player picking them strings 🔥🔥🔥
That bass and lead guitar ain getting enough love here. They knew how to direct the song with their ears. They had the mothers in the middle section bobbin their heads. That's when you know that is good music!

I love the pocket and being selective when to turn up . This allows the focus to b on the song n group. Some drummers being doing too much on simple songs n ppl pay more attention to them n not the message. It’s like a singer doing riffs n runs every phrase .

I love it! Drummer and bass player placed it in the pocket. I hear a little guitar but he sounds like he's over by keyboard player. I prefer to be next to that sock cymbal and you you can play off the dynamics and create emotions. IMO, which subjective. Strungout26
