Asia-Pacific and Italy played in the opening round on the International side of the bracket in the 2022 Little League World Series.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

I make my videos on the HP Spectre x360. I use Adobe Premiere Rush to edit, which allows me to commentate and efficiently splice up clips in a high quality way.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Because the bats aren’t like they used to be… before you’d see kids hitting 5-6 hr a game, with the USA stamp bats they hardly have any pop anymore so low scoring games

If Italy had anybody who could’ve even made good contact with the ball… they would’ve been a powerhouse with their ability to close innings out. Unreal defense. Beautiful game

Italy just could not get the bats going. Their defense was phenomenal especially from that Carlini kid. It’s impressive that they held Taipei to just two runs considering all the bases loaded situations they got out of.

Honestly i think chinese taipei will get eliminated in real soon. Italy actually did pretty good considering that the other times they've played, they always get mercy ruled. They only allowed 2 runs so they might survive their first elimination game against australia but yeah i don't think they'll make it too far either

Do you guys think it's because Italy showed up with a better team than usual or maybe Chinese Taipei wasn't taking this game that seriously? Chinese Taipei hasn't been able to get past South Korea in the Asia qualifiers recently until this year, so I assumed that this team was going to be pretty good

The true is Carlini one person saved the whole team. If without him, Italy probably will get another mercy rules. I bet Taiwan will beat Hawaii or Tennessee in final.

At 2:00 and 9:03, how do you call those balls?? First one "could be" considered high, still right over the plate and I'd say it came in right where the batter would normally swing. Second one, maybe low; again, right over the plate and not in the dirt. Also, I'm not a HUGE baseball person, let alone little league, but why is the ump standing so far off center to the plate?

that was a strike. Knee high, just looked bad because of how much it missed the spot. Catcher set up high and had to go all the way down, wasn't able to stick it and instead the glove fell all the way to the dirt
