As a monolid East Asian myself, this is a very pretty makeup look on us. Even though it's mature looking but I'm glad u didn't create a "fake" dramatic crease to create a fake deep eye socket which most western artists do on East Asian models. We usually do minimal makeup with very little to no eyeshadows just eyebrows, eyeliners, blush and tinted lip balm and good to go. We like to look very youthful. Overall, this is a very pretty "western Asian" makeup look and I love it too. Thanks for sharing. As always u r awesome and I learn so much!!!

Tubbing mascaras are another great option for long wear and they're easier to remove than waterproof mascara. Pretty much every mascara that isn't a tubbing mascara, even waterproof, transfers on my lower lash line so I've been loving a good tubing mascara lately (the one I've been using is from Eyeko). I love how simple and effortless this is!
I've tried the clinique tubing mascara and it flaked and smudged on me? The blinc mascara is a classic BUT I SWEAR BY the loreal beauty tubes mascara. It works just as well as the blinc, is a fraction of the cost and comes with a primer (that I rarely use)

That’s my go-to mascara for the past 2 years - best ever. Thanks Monika - I love this look and do a very similar look everyday on my hooded round eyes (not an easy shape I find). I try and keep the darker shades to the outer corners and blend up to help elongate my eyes.

Beautiful!!! Was it her mascara though? I was told that we can't use same mascara and wand on different clients so we have to use those changable wands and dip them into mascara only once to not distribute any bacteria. Is that correct? :)
I don't work with changeable wands. I do change out the mascara every few weeks in my kit. There are many people out there who do not believe in this so to each it's own. xoxo Monika
