Funny thing is, Hans was homeless, living out of a van, when he first started doing Kill Tony. I've been watching since then and seeing his rise has been awesome! Hope he keeps it up, i do think he lost to Ric though, but would have been sad to see him replaced.

Caleb accidentally gave an incredibly inaccurate compound interest number at 38:57. Hans not gonna have 38 million if he invested 45k annually. He will have that if he invested 45k monthly.

I caught that also. I got it at 5.5M also. Also variable rate of 2% makes either higher or lower - ie. 6% or 10%. I used: investor.gov

$38M is the wrong number. Caleb ran the calculation assuming $42k invested per month instead of per year. The actual calculation would be about $5.2M - still not too shabby.

Finally an episode with little to no yelling! I’m also glad there is an episode with a high income person, and that Caleb was true to his world and did not grill someone for their spending because it is within a reasonable percentage of their income. This was my favorite episode in a long time.

This episode has been my favourite in a long time. I love how comfortable both people are. Caleb doesn't have to scream at him, he's willing to take Caleb's advice and is interested in what he thinks. Such a good episode. We need more like this.

I have no idea who this guy is. But aside from the first 15mins of the show, which was just them chatting about stuff, this was incredibly interesting and fun to watch. I think this proves that this show does not need guest who are horrible and undisciplined with money. He wasn’t undisciplined, he just needed to invest and start paying attention to what his money is doing for him. I would love to see more guest like this. Also I’ve never seen a comedian act not like a comedian. He didn’t crack a bunch of jokes and was just serious the whole time

PLEASE HAVE MORE EPISODES LIKE THIS!! 🙏🏼❤ this was such a breath of fresh air, and it was great to see you genuinely enjoying content creation instead of coping with unbearable guests. Hans was an awesome guest, respectful, successful, and probably in a much more relatable position to where a lot of your viewers are. I would love if periodically, you all did episodes on what to do AFTER paying off debt and building the 6 month emergency fund. Effective investment strategies, how to find a good financial advisor, when it’s necessary to use an advisor, etc. :)

As a newly graduated from residency physician, I found this financial audit the most helpful and a breath of fresh air. I learned more from this episode for sure as high income earner. I Haven’t even been finishing the past 5-6 episodes because they go nowhere.

There's clearly no malicious intent with the tax situation. The irs does have some allowances for idiots. He can get out of the penalties and interest when he amends last year but he should be prepared to pay at least 60k for this year.

This calm, civil conversation was very refreshing compared to the constant yelling, arguing, and repetitive dialogue in the past several episodes. There's some great financial advice in here that viewers can learn rather than a bunch of mindless drama. The audits have been borderline unwatchable lately but I hope this is the start of some better conversations and episodes!

Caleb, first and foremost, thank you for an episode with someone who really cares! It's such a nice change! Second, I really think you should look into the series 63 certification- it's on the easier side, has a lot of information you probably already know, and will let you give the advice you want to give. The main drawback is that you would be regulated by finra, but you're already paying people take care of that kind of stuff anyway.

My only problem with him is that he mentioned he wanted to buy a house, then talked about how he wants to rent out a nicer apartment, THEN we see his savings and he has like 200K sitting in the bank. Like, I get houses in Austin are expensive, but he can put a hefty down payment. Even with the rates right now, his mortgage would be about the price of a nice rental.

I was a bank teller for years. They were just doing their job. It's a part of the metrics to offer products to customers. Most tellers don't know what is best for someone, they are just trying to keep their job and get an extra $5 - $15 bucks for each offered product a customer gets 😂
