This video we do up what I call Asian style short ribs marinated for 5 hours then grilled up on a Weber kettle - sprinkled with chopped green onions and roasted sesame seeds.

Yeah, we do these as well. Sooo good. Hope your catering gig went well, Louis.

By the way, my (Asian) wife would approve of how you plated the rice at the end. 😂

Thank you for watching, the catering was a hit. It was for our local cattle ranchers and they all loved the brisket so I was very pleased.

Those ribs look super yummy. I do like the no talk style video. Thanks for sharing.

They look really good. I like to cook these too. But I have never done them with Asian style flavors. Usually do them South American style style pepper and chimichuri. I think I’ll try the Asian style now.

Thank you for watching, I will have to try them with chimichuri - that sounds really good

Looks great! These are very similar to how some Cambodian friends of ours do theirs except they serve them on a Shish Kabob skewer.

Those were mighty nice looking ribs. When the vido fist started in the Shack, did see, perhaps, a Camp Chef smoke vault.

Thanks for watching, that is a camp chef vault, great vertical smoker but likes to run hot so I use it mainly for my chicken thighs

Looked great sir. I know it's typically colder on your side of the hill. But just how cold was it in your shop? Brrrr, it looked cold. Stay warm buddy. 🥶🔥😀🍻

Thanks for watching, I keep my shop at a comfortable 60 degrees. It’s the walk from the house to the shop that is cold. Still playing around with the IVS. Can’t seem to keep it set at 250 and let it run for 8 hours with out having to add more charcoal - I use the firebox plates and a FireBoard but at best I get 6 hours with a full bag of kingsford.

@Louis at R shack BBQ that's odd. I don't have a problem with fuel efficiency. Never have had to add fuel. My problem has been wanting to get it up to 350°f for a hot and fast cook. Anything above 300°f and she gets crazy. But she runs 225°f to 250°f even without the fireboard for about a 10 to 12hr cook and burn maybe a 20lb bag of Kingsford. I haven't fired her up in awhile. Not sure why they are acting so different from each other. 🤔🔥
