Thank you for the honest and thorough review. I found the shoe to be short and a tad narrow in the toe box. Other than that, extremely comfortable and well constructed. Just ordered a 1/2 larger in hopes that it will alleviate the toe rubbing.
Part 2 😅? Nimbus 25 is the best walking /standing up the long hours shoe as of now. One of the best build quality as well (surpasses the Invincible 3, the Superblast, the Triumph 20, and the SC trainers) . Only the 990 v6 made in the USA surpasses its build quality
working on it haha. I got he same pair to about 165 miles so far and they are still fantastic. unfortunately have had some hurdles with other issues. currently a broken nose that I need surgery on. as soon as I get them over 200 miles I'll probably do a follow up!
Toebox is supertight to the point I get numb feet when running. Swapped out the insoles which are insanely thick and then it gives you some more room...nothing amazing as a shoe and certainly not the marketing of the 'most comfortable shoe'. But it's solid and does the job.
just about to hit 300 in this pair and i think you kind of nailed it, I really like them, but objectively nothing groundbreaking, simply a solid trainer.
Agreed on the snugged toebox. Had to 1/2 size up and voila the toebox is perfect for me. From your experience, do you think it's a bit redundant to have both nimbus and novablst 3 for those easy, LSD?
Yeah, I’d say if you are looking for exclusively an easy day, recovery, LSD, you could just do nimbus 25. They got more stability and can take miles like a boss. Novablast would be a better “all around” shoe for everything though.
