Hey, It is very comfortable and soft and should be good for both. I am a bit on the fence about exercising in the gym, as it is a very padded upper, which could be a bit warm indoors, and the softness of the shoe may be a bit too soft for a treadmill. But It all depends on what you like of course. I'm a firmer shoe-in-the-gym kinda guy, so I would probably go for a Cumulus if I was the one deciding. Lars
Hey, thanks for the review, but I felt like the shoe itself was a bit tighter on the upper part, and the design really forces your toes to have no freedom whatsoever. Otherwise, it's a very nice shoe; it provides a lot of support and cushioning. It is a bit bouncy though, so it's not something I would recommend for heavier individuals or those who aren't used to walking much (speaking from experience). I also hope that in future designs they try to make them similar on the upper part to barefoot shoes-much wider and allowing more toe freedom-because it's so important for posture and overall performance. Either way, it's a nice shoe; so far, I am not disappointed myself. The stretch and breathable fabric are much appreciated. Hopefully, my wide feet won't poke out of the shoe; I bought them today for $200, so they better do the job. Would also like to add I'm wearing a pair of 43.5 EU in size and fits perfect :) And I am a casual walker and heard this shoe even though it's designed for running it should work either way and I am mentioning this because I experienced pain today on the right side of my right foot, could been that I need to lighten up on the shoelaces hehe
