ASICS GEL-Nimbus 26 vs Brooks Glycerin 21: Which Max Cushion Shoe Should Be Your Daily Trainer? 

I’ve been a Brooks fan for years but I’m gonna try the ASICS. My reasoning is that it feels more cushioned. If it doesn’t last as long it will be a reminder to replace my worn shoes. Thanks for the comparison.

I love both. Just tried bith at the store and went with the Asics. They were just so comfy and ouncy which is what I need for when my knee hurts.

I went from nimbus 24 to glycerin 21 and I have to say I find the brooks more comfortable, but the nimbus do fit slightly better

I'm in my mid fifties and do more fast paced walking. Therefore, based on your review, it sounds like the Asics are the way to go.

I’m an ASICS nerd, I own several pairs of Brooks and they are amazing, I’m just always grabbing the ASICS when it comes to throwing on a pair of shoes

I have both shoes. I don’t have a ton of miles on either one yet, but overall I prefer the Glycerin. I do like the Nimbus as well, but I like version 25 better. I’m not a weight weenie by any means, but the Nimbus 26 so far feels a bit heavier. That may change once they’re broken in a little more. Time will tell.

They both sound great. I have a high arch which one has a higher arch support

I tried both the pair on at a local retailer and I really like the softness of the nimbus 26, I think I’m gonna get the brooks glycerin 21s as well just so I can rotate them out. They’re both great shoes and they’re both very comfortable. They are definitely more stable than the asics In my opinion, I love the soft ride of the Nimbus 26 even though the upper is more flexible, you can definitely take sharper corner turns in the Brooks in my opinion😊

Glycerin 21 or nimbus 25,which one is more durable?

Both are great, but I do prefer the one that is a little firmer. So Brooks Glycerin 21 would be my first choice.

I'm thinking Asics because I want extra ankle support. Plus I'm either walking or just doing a 5k. No long distance running.

Nice video! I tried the Nimbus 26 in a shop, while I size 45 EU with the On Cloudeclipse, I had to try the 46 and 46.5 , the 46 is somehow slightly lacking lenght while the 46.5 is slightly too long!! Is it normal to have these weird sizing with Asics?
