@@GriffRunning Cause Brooks has a history making firm shoes. My Glyc 17 were firm, and reviews say the Glyc 20 is on the firmer side. I didn't go RUNNING w/ it outside the store.
I have the Glycerin 21 and the Ghost max. The ghost has a denser feel, still wonderfully shock absorbing and a nice rocket, but not as squishy. The 21 has an overall softer step in feel and soft landing. Very nice for easy runs. If I were to pick only one shoe for every run speed, I would choose the ghost max.
I'm pretty keen to try these out. I put 870k's on my 20's and I was pretty happy with them. If it wasn't for my big toe wearing a hole through the upper I would still be running them!
I got a pair of glycerin gts 21’s and I actually love the feel underfoot I don’t love all these super soft marshmallows shoes that don’t have any life or ground feel to them and the glycerin feels different like it’s soft, but responsive and is not really dual. It’s not perfect though the lockdown is pretty bad unless ur foot is very wide and the laces are clothey feeling so it’s hard to get a good lockdown with the laces as well and lastly it’s been lightly raining the past couple days and the outsole is very slippery like I don’t necessarily feel safe.. The 20 had a way better lockdown and fit in my opinion especially the GTS version the midfoot and heel really locked you down. Plus the 20 feels a little light and more responsive vs the 21 feels more like a high cushioned
@@Carlosediaz543Nice! That's exactly what I'm looking for! I'm stocky/heavy non runner gym rat with plantar fascia and the easiest for my pain currently are the gel-nimbus 25. I have glycerin 20 but they aggravate my pain too much right now. Hoping the new glycerin 21 will feel good!
@@jessa.3857 the nimbus is a lot stiffer and higher stack height. The glycerin has a lot more flexibility and isn’t as high off the ground. So I’m assuming the nimbus is just a more stable, and stiffer shoe, so your foot is doing less work and is in more of a stabilizing state
@@toby9999 ...Not me. I am a bit heavier (6'2" 250lb), so I prefer softer Max cushioning shoes and my Glycerin 20's feel firmer than my older pair of 17's and Adrenaline 19s.
Not a bad idea...was just commenting because I just bought the Ghost Max and love them BUT I hate the fact that they are not gusseted. Left tongue slides all over the place.
