Questions you may have
Q: Are these compatible with the larger SINCGAR models?
A: Yes, you just need to ensure your MODE, COMSEC, and FREQ are all the same.
Q: I hear a ringing sound when I plug the mic in
A: This is normal and will go away once you change to Single Channel Plain Text
Q: I don't get calls, or they come in with high amounts of static
A: Raise your POWER level
Q: I get calls but they are not loud enough
A: Raise your volume
Q: I can't input certain frequencies
A: Frequencies range from 30000 to 87975 in increments of 25.
Q: Will I lose my settings if I turn the radio off?
A: No, if you turn the radio off and then back on again, everything will be the same. HOWEVER, if you turn the knob to Z, you will clear all your settings. Useful if you get captured by SAPA.
