Ask A Therapist: Mental Health and the LGBTQIA+ Community 

There is a mental health crisis within the LGBTQIA+ community, and the majority of health care providers are either ether unaware of it, or don't possess the training to properly deal with it. Affirming care, which should NOT be a luxury, is hard to find these days. This week's video contains stats about the mental health status of many in our community, and also some background on how we got here. We finish off the video with some tips on how to be less alone, and some ideas on what to do if you find yourself looking for connection.
