The problem with most people who are claiming loving the preacher is : 1. They are not trying to imitated them You will find them with appearance like Kufar. Dressing like them. 2. They are not wearing hijab, not even praying. Mufti Menk is calling you to change your way of living and adapt it to the Islamic way. When you love someone you behave, dress, speak, walk like him. But are we seeing those people ?
Frere Umar Mansare True point, this is why it's mentioned, to truly get guidance from Allah you need to strive 'in the path of Allah'. It will not come to you sitting at home as it didn't for the Sahabah. They left their homes to learn and propagate Deen. People need to understand that along with learning from Ulema, you also need to propagate Deen yourself to others so you stay steadfast. On the other hand, people propagate everyday about the greatness of the world and its materialistic things, hence their lifestyle does not change. Learn and propagate Islam as no more prophets are to come.

once you fall in love with the recitation of the quran, it doesn’t really matter anymore whether music is haram or not. you will just simply find music not appealing.
One must realise that anything good is Halal. And similarly, anything bad is Haraam. If you are going to worship Allah by performing the prayers, then you have to have a clear mindset. I used to listen to music and when I performed the prayers I wasn't focused. Sometimes, you tend to think of the tune in your head without realising. It took a lot of effort and self-belief to give it up. Alhamdulillah, I can now focus properly during prayer. There is a lot of peace when you think of only Allah during worship. It gives me assurance that I can rely 100% on Allah's help and He is listening to me. The way to give it up is by reading the Qura'an, reading other Islamic books and listening to the Qura'an (I found this most helpful). It is not just music which can make you loose focus. Other things such as dramas, movies, etc can also affect the mind. Why should Allah listen to our prayers when we are not fully committed and pure? 'The right course has become clear from the wrong.' Surah Baqarah, verse 256.
I want my prayer to be recorded as 100% correct, rather then to have my prayer recorded but it is not 100% just because my thoughts were somewhere else...so yeah, music is out of my system for almost 2 months now and I feel so much better...The Almighty God made it easy for me to quit. You have been given one of the musical wind-instruments of the family of David .’” Abu Musa was given a wind instrument, if instruments are haram why has this happened? Psalms/Zabur, a holy book in Islam. Did you know that Psalms actually translates to "To play a stringed instrument"? If music is haram would it mean that I cannot read the Psalms? If a hadith has contradictory towards the Psalms, then it is not authentic. There is not one verse in the Quran that explicitly references music as prohibited, if there was music would have been haram. And no, Surah al Luqman 31:6 will not save you And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Quran) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire). This verse states that people that purchase Idle talks (Singing or Music) without knowledge that misleads people from the Path of Allah, then they will be residents of Hellfire. *To all Muslims* (Who listen to kpop or other music), if you are seeing this hear me out and just quickly read this message as a reminder (try to read all) Trust me this fangirling/fanboying does not get you anywhere in the long run. (I am not hating on BTS at all, just a reminder to my fellow brothers and sisters). They are merely humans and obsessiveness can easily take over people as it does to lots of Armys (and to me), but tbh true peace does not come from their music, but the word of Allah (God). I also used to be really into music, but true peace is found when you let go even if you think this music is different (meaning does not support the use of alcohol, using drugs, or objectifying women). I used to be a huge fan for 6 years, and I tried to improve my depression/happiness by constantly listening to BTS and other groups, but in the end I saw no real benefit even though the music seemed to make me happy, it was momentary (very short) and then life went back to the depressive state. Trust me true peace is when you take God's path... try it, just listen to the Quran consistently with translations whenever you feel like listening to music (I suggest Ibrahim Walk's translation with Mishary Alafasy)... Cause I used to be that one to say that this type of music is not haram. Truth is, it is haram based on authentic hadiths, but just think about it; is it getting you closer to Allah or farther away. Without you knowing you will see yourself wasting your time. I sincerely do not mean to hate or call Armys out, but I just want to let you know that the solution to the emptiness or depression you have is not the music. You may think it is, but it is temporary happiness that will you lead further away from God in the long run. Now the real Question needs to be asked... Don't you want to hear what God is trying to tell you (from the Quran)? Or is wasting your time on these things more beneficial, because the average teen spends 5 hours listening to music every day; 45% of it including inappropriate lyrics that will damage your brain and thinking pattern even if you think it won't. So ask yourself, isn't it time for change? Assalamualykum, sorry if it sounded preachy, but my only point is to help the youth like me who are suffering from depression or wanting happiness from music, and they think music will fully solve their problems.
everything you said is on point and i strongly agree with you!! Most of the bts songs are about self love and confidence but it is addictive and we spend so much time listening to music . I’ve been trying to limit hours of listening to songs. I literally can’t do anything without some music in the background. i think it’s the reason why it’s not allowed . anything in excess is bad for humans.it’s impossible to listen to one or two songs daily for relaxation . it’s addictive and you will always want more ..
Heyy i agree with u completely i am still an army but not because of their music because of then cuz i love them n i prayed that they get the guidance of allah inshallah if not in thiis world we shall meet in jannat💯💜
Assalamualaykum, Please read all of this as I am sincerely trying to help you (Allah is the best helper), but I am only a reminder. *The best way to give up BTS/KPOP obsession would be to* : Understand they are wasting your time, or the content they produce is wasting your time in the long run. Which you already did in your comment, so that's a good start. You said "When they smile it makes me happy." You need to understand that true happiness/contentment lies with Allah, which means obeying him will lead you to true success in this life and the hereafter. So anything that makes you happy is only a deceptive tool to make you happy in a temporary/fake way. Allah says in the Quran, in Surah Ali Imran 3: 185: "The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception." The next thing to understand is that they are normal people like us, so why should we idolize them based on their appearance on the camera. So can you like them for who they really are? I mean sure you can say they are this and that, but you do not truly know what type of people they are in their private lives so why should you be obsessed about them. Rather you should be a follower of the best man who existed on the earth, who is Prophet Muhammad. We know about his life from his private relatives, he never raised his voice at people and his personality was the best of anyone. So why should we not read about his life and try to follow his example? One thing that is very important that you said, which was wrong, is when you said: "But sadly they won't be happy after their death". This is completely wrong to say because they could likely become Muslims that have the highest level in Paradise, and we could be the opposite. But we ask Allah to guide us to the straight path in every instance. So this is wrong to say because only knows. And yes you can pray for them to become Muslim. So try to make alternatives for the KPOP content you watch, like : Quran, lectures, etc. It will be tough at first because your desires will kick in and want you to go back, but you will get use to a healthy lifestyle for your soul, inshaAllah (God Willing). These are things for you to understand, but the best way is to make Dua because Allah says in the Quran (40:60): "Call upon me, I will respond to you" That is the best way. Another reminder, some people think that if their duas are not accepted immediately or they are not accepted the way they wanted that Allah is not accepting their dua. But really the example can be given like when a boy is young. He asks for a car from his dad at that age. Will his dad give him the car or will he say no, I will give it to you when the right time comes. They want the best for you, the same way Allah does and Allah loves us more than our parents, remember. So Allah knows what's best for you, so never give up on dua because every dua is accepted. Be strong and don't give up because this life is short and if we don't change now, and better ourselves; it might be too late. I would like to propose you to watch a video in your free time (One of my favorite sheiks): m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FNT9Q362yF4.html Peace be upon you, Assalamualaykum
I couldn't have said it any better mashaAllah, you've articulated ur thoughts so perfectly. its just so hard to make your friends/acquaintances realize how momentary these things are...how they're not ACTUALLY benefitting you at all in the long run, just momentary happiness. @@freddiem6805 Oh dear, I'm quite sorry. I meant only to say that the elements of his speech were true, but you are correct when you say that only God can be absolute. This man's speech can always be improved or changed to be closer to the truth; only one being _is_ the truth. Thanks.
@@scar3xcr0 the way you said it makes it look like you are ignorant and being sarcastic. This is the difference between him saying 'my son' and someone like you saying it.
@@archerverse13 it was normal for people to marry when they hit puberty a long time ago. Not only for Muslims but everyone. This was about 1450ish years ago. A lot has changed since then.. even my grandparents got married when they were 16
@@archerverse13 before you say a 6 year old hasn’t reached puberty, you’re wrong because it’s different for everyone I have a sister who’s 6 and she had reached puberty when she was 5.
The more I study Islam, the more grateful I am to be an ex-muslim and atheist free from religious, especially Islam. Music = Expression of Love, creativity and life. They are afraid of people expanding their thinking and learning they are indoctrinated into a terrible cult.
not me.. He is kind of wrong you see it's not about music exactly it's about how u see music. I don't see it as a sexual thing I see it as a good beat i could dance to, not twerk, DANCE.. so you could listen to it but not if your gonna imagine you with some girl just listen to that beat and dance. NOT TWERK....
music is bad, no matter classic or modern. I can explain. after my converting to Islam the brother told me:" make experiment, don't listen to music 2 weeks and then you can start listening to it again, but please listen to your heart " it was hard for me as experiment, because I awoke with music and fell asleep with music, though I already started practicing solat 5 times per day. so I want to say, that when I stopped listening to music and I noticed my heart was clear during solat when I was praying, it was very delicious solat. after 2 weeks I started listening to music again and I lost that sweet feeling in my heart during solat. then I made my choice. I stopped listening to music and do not tolerate it anymore
+Cao Mengde It's your choice, same as many of weak people. Because it's really takes a lot of strength not to be a follower of own desires, to be on the right way in the meaning how prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him) and his friends understood Islam. I studied that question about music. Please study it, too. It may change all your life to the better. Just note, in Quran we see "many people" they don't know(7/187), they don't believe(11/17), they aren't thankful (2/243).We see "many among people" are reprobates (5/59), don't know (6/111), turn away (21/24), don't listen (8/21). We see "only few" are thankful to Allah (34/13). Ibn AL Kayim told:" follow the truth, and don't be sad for the reason of loneliness that only few follow the truth , be careful about way of lie, and don't make yourself be fooled with multiplicity or greatness of sinners". I know it's hard to confirm Allah dislikes music and shaitan loves it. But if you belong to yourself, you'll make a right choice from the truth. May Allah help you.
from last year i don't doubt in number of raka't of salah just because i stop listening music otherwise i always forget how many rakat i have prayed and how many i have left. so yes stop listening music is beneficial for concentration(for sure) and memory(maybe).
