Our first caller is moving to a different city for her boyfriend’s job, but is having cold feet. She’s struggling to communicate with him about moving away from her family. Our second caller has never met her father and is wondering whether she should search for him. Her mother is willing to help, but has no interest engaging with him… so what is stopping her? Our final caller went on a date with a girl who’s in a situationship. He thinks she's perfect, but is having troubles moving on in a small city.

O-M-G! I almost had to throw my tablet when the 1st caller would not stop talking & let Nick advise her. 🙉 I guarantee she didn't hear a word u said & is going about her own agenda, UGH! Loved the advice Nick gave to the 3rd guy & it sounds like he'll take & run with it...

1st caller- if you're resentful now, you'll be resentful 4 years later. Even if your life flourishes in the new city you'll always remember that you moved because of him and are living in his house and not because you made the choice to make your own life grow where you wanted it too.

At first I thought she was just countering Nick’s interrupting her (bc let’s be honest he does a fair amount of interrupting of callers), but then I also noticed that she was just oblivious to him talking and continued on with no apparent sense that there was someone else on the other end.

My father was out of my life all but one visit my whole childhood. My mom never talked bad about him and would try to find him for me when I asked about him. My dad was a mess when I was growing up but by the time I was an adult he had turned his life around. He was sick and my brother and sister in law pressured me to meet my dad when he came to visit them. I agreed and we built a great relationship that I treasure the memories of now that he's passed. I don't regret the meet up.

First caller is frustrating, I’m not sure what she expects from her partner. He’s probably extremely frustrated and defensive and just wants to fix the problem by reassuring her. If she wants solutions or for him to help her different then tell him that!!

When my x husband saw his father for the first time, in a store. He bought him a candy bar. Was it refused, because of illegitimacy, he only wanted a hug from dad. These young couples can afford expensive restaurants ? What kind of incomes do these couples have ? Conversation but not coffee , is an indictation. Meet me in the casa , but no further. Just like dramatic arts, boy is leaving, girl is walking in. Learning English & moving to Canada. When these couples go that far. Did you ever hear of a splurge?

What Natalie is wearing is disrespectful to Nick, their relationship and her mom. Nick's advice to the writer inner was spot on. First caller is PITA. Last caller is a simp for single mom with two kids and situationship - major no-no.
