Negeri Sembilan daging salai, itik salai, telur itik, ikan baung, perut lembu with rebung, ikan keli, burung puyuh cooked lemak ciliapi as well as sambal tempoyak daun kayui arw delicious, unique and authentic. Love to eat them. Cheers.
My kind of food. I have passed by Negri Sembilan ..love the Kajang Satays when I was a kid. But have never ventured beyond this. Must go there to eat before I can't walk. .
For your info, Negeri is State. Sembilan is Nine. But don’t translate it to Sembilan State, or State of Sembilan or Nine States. Just say it as Negeri Sembilan.
189? , thats quite expensive. somehow looking at your full table, then i would say it ok coz its look alike for 4 - 5 people lol. Although the salai / smooked it usually quite pricier in any place that served it. Ayam kampung too also mostly much more pricey than normal chicken. To say that ayam kampung is kinda 'organic' level chicken in some way. Sotong and ketam (squid and crab) also pricey than other seafood too. But seems the taste is there, then its fine. I myself will only took 1, or 2 'lauk' only with rice, daging salai masak lomak is a must that easily reach RM20-30 as its like negeri sembilan signature dish.. you actually can ask them to give serve upon your requested budget, some restaurant already made a package listing for 2, 3 4 person and so on.
