" any tax collecting office " Some of them have an outside express window - if your registration got lost in the mail within first half of the year it registered they may replace it free -if you have a police report of a theft of docs (registration included) they will replace it for free - if it's 3 months or less to your next registration you can just get the following year registration and not pay for the remainder of current year
never what they promiced: within last three years they ve got lost registrations in shipping (different vehicles) three times already; never easily replaced; replacement is only a printout with no decal. For a decal must pay full registration again; to replace with a decal MUST come personally, can't send a family member etc.. So much better on paper; never so in reality. Clerk actually SAID IT: it's your own fault that you paid online. If you'd come to the office it would be right away and reliable.
