In a recent podcast the Sawyer CEO offered that as part of at home Permethrin treatment, pre-heat the dryer, turn it off and “hot soak” the garments to enhance the chemical bond with the fibers.
Another helpful video. I was on the North Lake-South Lake loop in September and the river crossings were very manageable, including the alternate for the San Joaquin bridge outage. Nights were cool, days were warm, water was plentiful.
Snowshoes are not necessary. In June the snow will compact on itself and support body weight at all times of day, except along the edges of snowfields and around "rock moats" where the snow is thin and/or melted all the way through.

Boring, mud dry's quicker. I've been back packing through those areas since the late 70's- PCT John Muir..... Improve your skills before you choose to impart bad information
