"In your 20s, you really do care about people think about you. You get to be 40, you don't really care what people think about you. Then you get to be 60, you realise no one thought of you in the first place." Damn, that was good.
my dad is all about business that he disrespect me and justifies it with his unreasonable reasons at 23, i’m gonna tell him i hate him a little bit i hope it was worth making your son resent you
I like how he called BS on business people “Loving their business”. I appreciate his honesty on being money driven. We need more transparency like this.
There definitely are people who love their businesses. Definitely not all of them though by a long-shot. I think it depends on your industry too. Can't imagine people who love water treatment or the refinement of chemicals so much they want to keep doing it after they have an exit or retire. I can imagine people who own businesses that design and make surfboards or mountain bikes or go-carts still wanting to be involved forever though. You wouldn't want to sell that business and let go of it completely
Idk man me and my client we talk lots about how we love our work, and whenevet I feel a BShitty vibe about it am like nah mate, I dont nees to work with you. We dont make millions and millions but we are well off enough to say freak you if youre not into what you do and belueve it truly dont waste my time.
Kinkos billionaire is refreshing. Doesn't play it down. Says it felt great to become a billionaire. Immediately casually goes over what he sees as regrettable instead of giving a hippie answer. Has the lust for life to buy a jet but understands that the most valuable thing is family.
@@Alan-rw3ez No, that is a real answer. An example of a hippie answer is saying that you have no regrets because everything bad made you who you are etc.
I used to think everybody went broke during the Great Depression and other major crashes but they didn’t… Some made millions, I also thought everybody went out of business during these times but they didn’t, some went into business, there's always depression/recession for some people and there's always a good time for others, it's all about perspective.
First step is discovering loopholes to generate gains during volatility, It is very possible to retire big time from the current market condition without having to hold stocks long term.
most of these strategies and loopholes are better managed by experts and pros in the market, the average Investor on the other hand are left to suffer during a crash.
The issue is people always have the “I’ll have to do it myself mentality” Unapologetically, that’s why the get heavily affected during a crash and coupled with the fact we’ve had the longest bullrun ever in the American history, most folks aren’t equipped to manaqe this crash and it’s impending opportunltles well enough, so it only makes sense to seek proper guidance during these times, that’s what lnvestment-advlsers are for, been using one ever since the pandemc 2020 and I’ve been barely affected by crash, I have $850k in profit sitting in my portfolio and I’m unbothered about the market outcomes.

@@Vid_Master Well said, even a reasonable dispersal of that wealth would change every employee lives and their families. People just don't understand how much money it really is/what it can do. Billionaires by their very existence choose personal power/greed over empowering others.
I love the “success is having adult children that enjoy being with you”. I agree, money is great but life is about relationships. I think my adult kids like being with us, i know i love being with them. Larry
@@debunkinghistory214 wasn't meant to be marketable. It was supposed to get the average Joe thinking and being able to just go out and make a quick 20 bucks if he wanted to hustle. It actually made a lot of sense.
The sad reality is people don't care or respect our elders. I try to help out any way I can from family to strangers because my parent taught me right to respect them because they are very wise.
I feel like my billionaire grandpa just gave me priceless gems on what life is really suppose to be like...billionaire or not. Appreciate the video Noah and team.
Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!
Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.
Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $508k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choices I have made recently.
I'm working with a consultant named *'Nolan Velden Brent,'* whom I discovered through a CNBC interview where he was featured. After reaching out to him, he has been providing valuable entry and exit points for the securities I focus on. If you're interested in his supervision and expertise, you can look him up online using his name. Following his trade pattern has been a rewarding experience, and I have no regrets about doing so.
Went to an expo once with a Brazilian multi-millionaire. Walked past a fruit juice stand that had a monopoly at the show. He saw the stand and was in total awe. They were juicing oranges automatically. A huge line. I thought nothing of it. The Brazilian pulled me back and asked me to count the drinks they sold in the next minute. About 15 drinks at $4 a drink. He asked what turnover would that be per day? At that moment realized how the mind of a true entrepreneur works.
@@Mystix225 Heard a saying once that we are born naked, leave this world naked. Money is necessary but having a lot of it does not guarantee happiness. That said you want enough money to be able to do what makes you happy.
Becoming a dad completely changed my life. I now have different aspirations, concerns, priorities, etc. So yes, I think the best life is one with my family, as often as possible.
Wow! What a brilliant and fascinating video. The gentleman you interviewed had such different personalities but they all acquired their wealth by listening to their instincts, taking a chance and working hard. Loved it, Noah. Great job!!!!!!!!
"I had to kill a few hundred People, Sacrifice my First Born Son to The 😈 Devil, Drink Human Blood, Attend Secret Rituals, but in the End It was Worth it..."
I'm extremely privileged to have had the chance to be in Paul Orfalea's class at USC (University of Southern California, not Santa Cruz haha). That once a week class held at the university's best restaurant (we'd get dinner served while he taught us simple life/business lessons) on campus was the definition of what college should be about: practical scenario based exercises, stories of mistakes Paul made running Kinkos, and incredible Q&A sessions with guests/Paul's friends who were all entrepreneurs or high up members of society (a former California Supreme Court Justice taught us many great lessons). I'm incredibly grateful to Paul for everything he taught us.
As a woman, I think other women need to hear this. Family is important. Relationships are important. I feel like too many women prioritize careers over family these days and it just leads to misery. Because your company won't be there for you when it's over. But your kids and husband will if you prioritize having good relationships. Same goes for the guys. Don't let "success" ruin your life and the lives of your family. Money can help, but it can also destroy.
Men and women are different I do believe it’s important for a woman to prioritize family but for men it is different we need to work and provide for our family and we are not caretakers in the same way
@@janebaker4912 lol that's why it's important to have good relationships. Definitely don't depend on your kids for your finances, but yes if you find that balance it's better than chasing that money.
I was lucly to figure this out in my mid 20's. i didnt know anybody from school any more, everybody gad carried pn eoth their own lives and i found myself in a job nobody wanted me in. It took alkng time of talking to those guys, learning from them and getting to knpw them for them to take a sine and interest in me. They essential helped me grow into a man. I grew out of that job as it no lonfer served me as it would not financialy sustain my future goals and I got a higher paid one. i no longer know or talk to any of those people. Im now in the best job I have ever had mostly due to the comradery. But im not silly. When i leave this job I will probably never hear from these people again. The only constant is my wife and family. Life is a train. And everyone is getting off and on at different stops until you reach the end of the line. Its sad. But just feel happy for people when they find the stop they are looking for.
One takeaway on this video that I got from watching it. Sacrifice now and have fun later. The common theme is, these folks have sacrificed first before enjoying life. Others want to enjoy life first. That is why they do not achieve the pinnacle of success.
but What if you don't make it to the later part? All that sacrifice now fun later now for what? we don't know when our day is up. Enjoy life and have fun to an extent atleast thats what I think.
@@noahkagan definitely! I can relate to them even if I am not a billionaire. I enjoy my life now retired early. Have worked 15 years in a row non stop with investments on the side and full time work. I still do work but for enjoyment purposes only.
@@MoparSrt702 I have faith in God that if I glorify him He will bless me. I was worth $100 and broke when I came to the US. No one knows when a person will die. But true happiness can be found in both being productive, with some fun along the way. Most importantly, glorify God and he will bless you even more.
Lets take notes guys.. All billionaires and no single one is wearing full designer clothes such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton etc. Great vid, so much value, thanks!!
I'm 3 years short of being the magical 50 and I'm so looking forward to it. Btw, this was a fantastically done video and i would like to add that as you grow older past your 40's, you not only stop giving a flying duck as to what people think about you, you also walk away from all negative and toxic people because you realize your self worth is the most priceless thing you will ever have.
Laughing at what he said in 7:03 because he's so spot on (and yes I'm in my forties). Minus the swearing, I relate to him the best. He's so funny and honest - can only respect that.
Man. This video was Soo well done! You asked the most important questions that I think we all need to know. Seems like the biggest thing they had in common was hard work and commitment.
Brilliant video Noah! Billionaires are considered abstract shadow people. This shows them for what they are, hard-working, intelligent, and personable people.
It's great to hear from them that the struggle, the hardwork, the sacrifice is all worth it. Make sure you work guys. Nothing comes out of procrastination, being lazy, unmotivated..
@@namvoba5897 True, it's not the money, it's the service to humanity that brings the money. If anyone chases money, money just rans too fast then we won't catch up, frustration follows.
The Kinkos guy has some amazing quotes in this... I like him. I like his honesty, seems like a bit of a hardass, but understands what relationships are important.
I really see Paul as an older version of myself 😂 when I was a kid, instead of spending my money on the ice cream truck when my other friends didn’t have money, I used it to buy materials for a lemonade stand and put my friends to work, I took $5 and turned it into $40 and we all had treats when I ice cream truck came. When I had no money, I got my friends to gather buckets, soap, window cleaner, and old rags for free and you know what we did? Washed cars in our neighborhood. People gladly paid a bunch of neighborhood kids to clean their car instead of causing trouble. I became disillusioned with online hustle culture for a while but the tried and true method is to bring value to the marketplace not over saturate it in hopes of personal gain. Sure there is the what’s in it for me, but what value are you bringing to someone’s day? Is their car clean? How about their thirst? What about their heart strings? Have you pulled them by kids showing true American ingenuity by using their time to improve their community instead of destroy it? (Especially poor black kids like how I grew up)
I appreciate that Mr. Kinko regrets his lack of gratitude for his employees. I hope he has taken that wisdom and spread it to his other wealthy clique members. But I have worked in hospitals all my life and know those people in the executive suites making the big bucks don't give two shits about employees, much more, the patients.
This is eye opening .. and great advice for someone starting out in Biz … great work .. “I was in it for the money” once you love it you loose the objectivity … well said ..
Met Paul when I worked @ Kinkos a few months before he sold it to Fedex, one of the Coolest People to me and he would actually talk and have conversation with anyone. He made a lot of individual Store Owners Instant Millionaires that year by selling...
notice: grounded humility, no nonsense, no flashy fluff. I personally work with one billionaire- he's exactly the same. (they always have VERY nice houses. but rarely supercars. never hip designer duds.)
Kinko's is right, I've started my business this year and yes I like it being mine and learning from all this adventure but the final objective is to sell it.
Love what the Ugg owner said. It’s comforting knowing the rent is paid for a year or two. That’s my goal, true financial freedom while enjoying what I do and my family.
Lived on a rich street, my neighbor got rich during internet boom in early 90s with computers and he said you gotta want it more than anything else and chase it to make lots of money. I know that sounds obvious but he said he had an agreement with his wife he'd never be home, working all the time, but in their mid 40s he'd sell and come home, and he did.
It feels a lot better knowing that there are people who are eager to continue to improve while keeping in mind that being perfect isn’t the goal. Creating my RU-vid channel about self development was not easy to start. It took me years for contemplating before I finally did it and I’m glad I did.
Viterbi is a legend in the world of electrical engineering. Viterbi codes, the trellis etc. As a DSP/COMMS engineer in ASICs and FPGAs, I've used his algorithms for decades. Again... legend.
