I'm pretty sure they are just playing the song in the background because they don't yet have a backtrack set up for this song, being that it is so new.

Clearly you're not too experienced with how backtracking works.. JUst because the song is brand new to US doesn't mean it's new to them.. THey wouldn't perform it live if they didn't have a backtrack... That's just dumb. It takes 2 seconds to re-render a song without the drums and all the instruments..
Peter Lanza because this isn't on a TV broadcast. The festival one we keep seeing had shitty sound production that put the backing louder than his mic.
I don’t think you understand entirely so I’ll explain it as I’m with a band who uses these types of backing tracks. At 0:50, you can hear essentially what is TWO people singing and it’s a track of denis which he’s also singing with. He pulls away during the parts he can’t really sing that well but the track is under him so it makes him sound as if it’s perfect. Very common.
@@nathandrums0 well you are just wrong cause he doesn’t “sound perfect “ at all. he pulls away during one part which is the “killing your self” part of the chorus. besides that the backtrack doesn’t make him sound perfect at all
@@jeux2322 I’m not wrong lol. I never said you couldn’t hear his real voice but the backing track is about 15% louder than his own vocals to hide the imperfections as much as possible without fully lip syncing. You’re not a musician and I can tell just by the uneducated comments.
elijah prophet the problem is they have no backing track done yet. They're just playing the song behind him at normal volume really. But since they havent made an actual backing track Dennis gets drowned out and it looks like lip syncing
I've heard so many people say he sounds like shit live or that he was better in Down & Dirty but I'm very happy he sounds good singing this live. it's perhaps my favorite song off the album

He has been lip syncing for a little while with this song. He did when I saw them a few weeks ago. This is the only video you can clearly hear him. Denis is still an amazing vocalist either way.
I actually prefer Danny. his voice is much more complex. maybe Denis's voice will take getting used to. But I've loved Danny's voice through the years of listening to asking Alexandria. and also If a singer has to lip sync you have to question if they actually have the talent to begin with. Not hating at all just stating my opinion.
+ilovedatherinetopieces. xx In my opinion, he has been lip syncing because he wasn't confident about it. I won't give in has got much higher notes which are harder to hit live, but he clearly can sing it, even if there were few slightly flat notes
1:55 - it's either recorded, or an echo. But looked like a muted mic , and singing to a recorded soundtrack .. But I can be trippin. It could be him live. Just sounds "too on point"
You are right. It's because of the playback in the background which makes it unhearable that his voice already "died" a few seconds ago. I personally absolutly hate the use of playback but yeah...they're not so...
-Okay, so check this out. They DONT have a proper backtrack for this song! It's been said multiple times. The song was released right before they started touring and one wasn't made. It also wasn't helpful that Dennis got very sick right before they started touring. Once there is a proper backtrack for the song everything will be better! Just hold tight until they quit doing this Tour and they're able to make one or until Sumerian gives them one.
You think so? I don't. He not tune up at all, even low notes, and highest notes from playback for sure. It's miricle, he can't take middle notes, but, higher takes with no problem.

Saw them live and he was clearly singing every song live but with this song they played a backtrack super loud I'm guessing cuz they were filming for the music video and also cuz they don't have a proper backtrack yet. I mean every other song was sung live and it was obvious so why would they lip sync this song?
I found that live performance to understand, how man can sing so high? Of course, man can't. All the notes - somewhere near his place-))) he can't even reach subhigh notes, but, can high one...miricle or cheating, I don't really know, I'm dark-))
Everyone bitches and moans about one singer or the either....every AA album is freaking great. I go back and forth from The Black to the others constantly without skipping a beat.
nice to see him actually sing it live. I don't understand why they don't have a lowered key version that they play the days when his voice is not 100%. Playback is kinda embarassing.
