In my first playthrough through Golden Deer, Dimitri was actually one of the contestants. It's my headcanon now that Hanneman didn't actually try to win but instead wanted to tease Dimitri
LOL if you are on Golden Deer, and you recruit everyone possible, there are only 4 possible dancers you face off against: Edelgard, Hubert, Dimitri, and Dedue. Seeing Hubert and Dedue going through the dance animation was... as frightening as it was funny

KendrixTermina I played BL 3 times. I made Felix a dancer twice and Dimitri the other. They both benefited greatly from the sword avo boost. I’m also evil and like to make them do things they don’t want to lol. Felix is definitely better since he has lower defense and resistance than Dimitri so being able to avoid attacks is more critical for him.
Kelly Johana he thinks the judges are insane for voting for him. Considering he also wanted to be a Pegasus knight I don’t know how to interpret his thoughts.
@@Neogears1312 Edelgard in their C support mentions that Hubert could've lived the normal life of a noble if he didn't decide to walk the same path as hers. I suppose thinks like dancing and riding (very noble) were noble activities that Hubert likes but he doesn't make it a big deal. (Although, he has riding and flying as weaknesses)

Yeah strangely enough it's the only one where that happens, this may imply something: -Flayn is the best Dancer (which is actually true gameplay wise) -Byleth has a thing for Flayn
@@menph1096 Well assuming his mom is Rhea's "sister" (it's supposed to be a clone of her if I'm not mistaken), that would mean Flayn is Byleth's cousin. You're not wrong though I think it's the Crest of Sothis reacting to Cethlann's presence.
There's also unique dialogue for dance practice, unique reactions for winning the dance, and unique dialogue afterwards for winning or losing the dance
In my BE run, I made Hubert my dancer and never looked back. Buuuut since I was playing blind, when Edelgard asked me to accompany her to the empire I said no cause I wanted more tea time with Mercedes. Lost my lord and my dancer that day... #FeelsBadMan
His growth is not that bad-it's 35, which is only going to be one point on average compared to a 40-growth character like Dorothea or Mercedes if we generously assume you're level 21 by this time. It's his base stat of 3 that's the main problem. It's the lowest in the game for students. Edit: Oh, this comment was four years ago. I don't know why I'm responding to it.
I picked Ingrid in my Blue Lions route, when she was saying, “ it’s not me, is it? Please don’t say it’s me” I was just like “I’M SO SORRY MY DARLING BUT YES, IT’S YOU.” I honestly thought with how she carries herself with dignity and perseverance that she was the best choice.

Dimitri was the funniest one, while Bernie was the cutest. That "Please, anyone but Bernie!" is sooo cute. If i'll ever grab a copy of the game, no matter which house i'll choose, i'll always try and recruit here. If she is already recruited, i'll do it again.
Giacomo Ciogli You may already know-but if you want some tips on how to recruit her easily-raise your support with her up to C (you can do that by giving her gifts she likes and bringing her lost items.) and raise your bow skill up through training. (You can do that with both shamir and hanneman i think.)
@@ShootingMapleStarz Honestly he's still OP af, though he's a bit overleveled in my game so that could be a contributing factor. I'd say go for it though, he's not particularly fragile (aside from low res and luck so mages are something to watch out for) so he should be okay. I've only had him dance pre timeskip because I still haven't decided if I want to change him out of his special class for it in the post timeskip.

Among the house leaders reaction, 17:10 Dimitri has the most adorable response. 4:15 Claude seems flabbergasted with a sudden pick, and 10:46 Edelgard is confident as she'll ever be. But overall, it would depend on the who has the highest charm stat.

I think it's hilarious when if Caspar does end up winning the White Heron Cup, he's like "Wait, did I actually win this?" This tells me deep down he's not as confident as he leads on to be.
When I got to this part of the game the first student I saw was Dorothea and I immediately picked her. I hadn't seen a walkthrough or anything, the first thought I had was, "A THEATRE KID. YES, THIS IS PERFECT."
