Being a doctor myself, I totally agree to what Bharat said about female doctors being addressed as sister! It's super irritating when you have to explain again and again that you're a doctor! Sister is not a derogatory term but respect should be given where it is due. Even I have studied nights and cleared the same exams as my male colleagues, I think female doctors deserve to be respected!
Plus being a maxillofacial surgeon where we do a lot of surgeries n work in casualty day n night during our resident life n also ppl not recognising that even in dentistry we hv MCh courses in craniofacial surgery,super speciality for prosthodontist working in era of prosthesis for oral cancer patients...putting eye, ear prosthesis Maxillofacial surgeons operating from tibia region, hip region, pectoralis muscle region for reconstruction of Jaw . N saying dentist cnt do surgery n dentist not doctors n patients calling sister everytime , it's really irritating, it's not about ego but it's the hardwork not recognised

And I loved the line where bharat said" the pop culture also influence all these things" That was soo true'...half of our insecurities arise from comparing ourselves to celebrities and songs where butt, boobs, perfect fair skin are mainly shown and no flaws in onces body are shown, it actually affects the thinking of young generation and people in general. Bt I mean why do people think that only men can be a doctor n why not women?!! Where does this mindset come from?! And yeah dating app does play a part in treating the whole dynamics and the interaction of dating as a ‘commodity’ because what happens when a potential partner is presented to you on a screen with you having the option to just ‘swipe’ on them , people end up thinking that there might be someone better in the next swipe , it does create a psychology of treating people as a ‘commodity’ .With irl interactions , you can’t swipe someone away right ?
