My favorite moment in the Remake was: Aerith: “So, Cloud, what’s your favorite flower?” Cloud: “They’re all the same to me.” Aerith: “You sure you wanna say that to a florist?” Cloud: “Better than lying.” Aerith: “Okay, then what’d you do with the flower I gave you?” Cloud: “I, uh…” Aerith: “You give it away?” Cloud: “I did.” Aerith: “Ooh! To who? Tell me! Cloud: “Don’t recall.” Aerith: “Hmmm?” Cloud: “What?” Aerith: “Thought you didn’t like lying.” In this situation, I had to smile completely unconsciously the whole time, and there were many more such moments. Proof of how much I was caught up in this game with my heart. :-) Best regards
My favorite part in Remake was Aerith waking Cloud up in the church after he fell. The music is so soft yet hits SO hard on my nostalgia button that I started crying and had to take a few minutes to just look at the flowers and absorb everything. Even watching a clip of it now is like a gut punch of emotions! (Also Aerith's real mom's name is Ifalna and her adoptive mother's name is Elmyra!)
@@StrangeRebelGamingYour voice work was absolutely perfect for her! The moment that scene played out I immediately thought "I love her (Aerith) and I'm going to protect her at all costs."
Elmyra! One of my favorite memories of FF7 is Reno walking through the flowers in the church and telling his crew not to step on them. Or in Remake, the Aerith dress reveal in Wall Market
Fantastic video! Elmyra is the answer. My favorite memory of FF7 Remake is Clouds wall coming down and attempting the high five with Aerith, catching her off guard, then trying to play it off. Such a awkward yet hilarious and relatable moment! 😂
My favorite moment is just before leaving Cosmo Canyon. The sights, sounds, and people are amazing... and Reds backstory was so emotional. Thinking about experiencing it all over again gives me CHILLS! Cant wait for part 2!
My favorite FFVII moment was in the climax of knowing the truth about Cloud's memories. Cloud saving Tifa and fulfilling his promise to her that he will save her when trouble finds her. It's my most vivid memory of the game. I do hope you'll get more projects with Square Enix and other games as well, I love your voice.
Man, FF7 made a very memorable impression on me as a kid. I was 10 when I first played it. We only owned 1 TV in the house and I probably sunk a couple hundred hours into it so it became a family affair. I insisted on having audio when I played story because the music was top notch, BUT, because I played so many hours and many were spent grinding levels, I did make the concession that when I wasn’t progressing the story, my sister (who at this point was 12) could use the entertainment center to listen to her music. To this day when I’m traveling the world map in the OG I will have N*Sync and Backstreet Boys songs pop into my head. On a less traumatizing note, she and I would compete for scores on Snowboarding in Gold Saucer. Also, in answer to the trivia question, Elmyra (not sure if my spelling is correct) is Aerith’s adoptive mother. I’m shocked that nobody got that.
Seven seconds is not enough to describe a favorite memory, when this game occupies such a huge part of my childhood. Seriously. I'm not far from 40, and if I hear the opening notes of the Prelude I still get goosebumps. When the Remake was announced, I slammed my fist onto my desk at work and shouted. "Finally," I thought, "finally something to look forward to!" Which is a damning indictment of how adulthood turned out, really. That story is greater than the canvas that was first used to tell it; it has endured in the memories and hearts of everybody who went to Midgar, fought their way out, and did their part to save the Planet. It's corny, yes, but I don't care. I made some long-lasting friendships from that little gem. My favorite question about the game, though? "What disc are you on!?" Because you KNEW at the end of Disc 1, someone was getting their heart broken. (No spoilers pls)
@@DakonBlackblade2 nomura confirmed that the locations in rebirth extend up to the forgotten capital in the developer interview and on the PlayStation store the description of the game says the party’s journey culminates at the forgotten capital, soooo....
Now that the devs officially announce the Forgotten City is the final moment of Rebirth, I CANNOT wait to see Briana do that one scene that will absolutely wreck all of us fans again. Looking forward to what you and VA cast cook, it’s gonna be something special :’1
Wow, a vid with Yuna, Happy, Max Dood, AJ and YOU in it?! How lucky! All amazing folks! My favorite moment in FF7 is the first time you hear the Highwind music and set sail into the skies. Ifalna is the answer as well.
My favorite Final Fantasy VII memory is watching my cousin play the opening Midgar section over Christmas break in 97. My family had to head back home very shortly afterward, so I didn't get to see much of it (I was also 6 years old), but it stands out in my mind as a core memory. Love your work in the Remake. Can't wait to see what Rebirth has in store!
Elmyra Gainsborough! Welcome back to RU-vid Bri! So happy to see you’re uploading again! My favourite FF7 moment is definitely the park scene between Cloud and Aerith where they have a little conversation about their past, with the music accompaniment, it is such a beautiful moment. I’m so excited to experience more scenes like this in FF7 Rebirth!
I’m holding out on playing the original. But my favorite memory of Remake is literally any and every moment between Cloud and Aerith! The church, the rooftop, collapsed expressway, Aerith’s house, WallMarket was an absolute blast, and Chapter 14 resolution scene was both beautiful and upsetting.
My favorite moment in FF7:Remake (Aerith removes tunnel cover in children's playground) Aerith: "Ready?" Me: "No!" (3x every playthrough I did in my 3 plats of the game) Day one, I was Team Tifa for all those years but since my time playing FF7: Remake I fell in love with Aerith and I a hundred percent know who I will ask on a date in the Golden Saucer when FF7: Rebirth drops. So excited. My second best moments in FF7: Remake (on top of the roofs in the slums) Cloud: "bodyguard I guess!" Aerith: "heh" (so cute and precious angel)
Doing the cloud dance sequence at the honeybee inn and especially aeriths enamored gasp when he is revealed in a dress has gotta be one of my favourite ff7 memories. Followed by some hilarious and brilliantly delivered aerith teasing 🤣 Cannot wait to hear your work in rebirth, you are the perfect aerith!
Great to see Maximilian "The FF7 Superfan" Dood making an appearance in the video. What a great video it was! Can't wait to see your work in Rebirth. I know I'll cry many more tears.
My favorite memory of FF VII was probably when I first received it as a gift. When I was a teenager and at the time, living with my uncle. He told me “Hey Jeffrey what is that out on the porch there" and it was a brand New Playstation with Final Fantasy VII. To say I was ecstatic would be an understatement. In my excitement and complete blissful reverie, I opened the box, took out the console, plugged it in and put the game in and... My mind was blown just seeing that first cinematic opening. I had entered a realm of visual story telling in video games that I had never seen before. At that point, I knew then that I was going to be a FF fan for life.
Welcome back ! We missed you ! It's so good to see you on RU-vid again ! So many moments were memorable to me, but I'm guessing the one that really stood out to me in FF7R is when Barret is losing it after sector 7's destruction ! It was all fun and giggles before that moment, and all of a sudden BOOM ! Eric Bentley just delivered a masterclass in voice acting ! That moment hit me like a mountain of cement and steel had fallen from the sky ! Other than that, the one that really made me heartily guffawed was when Aerith essentially taught Cloud how to high five in the tunnel. That was hilarious ! Also, I'm pleasantly surprised that Maxmilian Dood is featured in your vid. Since you did a few collabs with fellow FF7 connaisseurs, I pretty much expected you'd have done an interview/collab with him too by this point, as he's kinda the king of FF7 nerds. Or maybe would it be it too dangerous to discuss with him to avoid any spoilers ^^ ? He did call out on a lot of deep cut shit that seemed to have been confirmed later on by Square.
Elmira! right? Ok I'm googling it now. I got it right! One of my fav FF7 memories was when I first played it as a young teenager. That box art was so enticing, I had no idea what I was getting into. But what I remember most about that experience was the fact that we didn't have a memory card for the PS1 so I just never turned off the console. Of course, moving on to disc 2 required a memory card 😭 I never actually played all the way through ff7 until I was in the military and had my own console AND a memory card of course.
Finally Briana is back uploading, today is a good day :) Best FF7 Remake moment is tough so many to chose, but Aerith's red dress reveal was so extra I loved it, but then the high-five at the end of The Hell House fight. Also Aerith's adopted mum is Elmyra (without looking up) she's awesome!
The Aerith Resolution scene where she told Cloud not to fall in love with her and that even if he had it wasn't real. Firstly too late, secondly, it is real damn it!
This was so awesome, honestly one of the events I want to go to specifically to meet fellow Final fantasy 7 stans 😂 Also one of my favorite moments in ff7 is the moment in the final battle when Aerith helps Cloud against Sephiroth Cloud: he's tough And Aerith responds with Aerith: yeah so what, screw him😂😂
WOW THIS IS SO CRAZZZZZYY!!! I was there at Sandiego Comic Con for a job i was promoting Zomb100 i was cosplaying as a giant zombie shark and i swear i saw you and was like why the heck does she look so familiar
I got the original black-label copy of the game online in 2011. My cherished memories are of Cloud & Aerith speaking on the cat slide, & them all entering the Gold Saucer together...and that's how far I got in the original game (I got lost!) my favorite modern memory is Red XIII hauling Cloud upon their first meeting, "I am not a rat-dog," grinning for Barret, and Aerith teasing Cloud & getting to him so easily without even trying or getting his goat. True BFF's supporting one another all-around
Easy, Elmyra :). All of Aerith's lines are wonderful, it's difficult to choose the best memory. I'm going to choose a funny memory, "when Aerith and Cloud are underground and Aerith goes to celebrate with a high5 and Cloud is lost without understanding anything. 😂
Final Fantasy has a huge fanbase in Brazil, I really loved the English dubbing, it was so perfect, all the voices really matched and your interpretation was so wonderful, I really loved your voice in Aerith, congratulations on the incredible work, in two games and in Rebirth every content that comes out of it shows the affection and dedication of all the professionals involved in the project, a hug from Brazil
It’s so awesome that you’re getting this opportunity with SquEnix! I hope your collabs continue even beyond the release of FFVII R part 3 (though I’m also really chomping at the bit for more Rebirth news, hopefully at TGS)! Let’s keep on truckin’ / moseyin’! 🎉👏🤠
Brianna you should of asked who the real mother of Aeirth is? See if people remember that one. Even though she has not appeared directly in the game, she is shown during that same scene when clouds team talks to Elmyra
I've played many PS1 RPGs back in the day (Xenogears, Star Ocean 2, FF8, FF9, Legend of Legaia, Suikoden 1+2, etc), but somehow, I've never played OG FF7. I only got into the FF7 franchise when Crisis Core came out in 2008. The graphics were really great, for a handheld game (at that time). The secret ending in that game led to the beginning of FF7 and I waited for 12 years to finally play FF7R (2020)!
Favorite memory from the original was leaving Midgar and seeing the World Map for the first time. I was new to RPGs, and I had never experienced a game that opened up into such an expansive world like that. It's the moment I realized that I had only just scratched the surface of the game.
There's too many favorite moments to choose from that I'm sorry, but I can't answer this without feeling like I'm forgetting something. I will say that I LOVED all the voice acting in this remake. All the characters were on point.
I'd like to add my favorite memory(ies) of FFVII are probably...experiencing playing it for the first time (in 2000)...on my PS1...in my room at night. Seeing the relationship between Aerith and Cloud...and just...the game! Playing the game! The whole thing. All of it. I do have a soft spot for some areas/parts like Wall Market, Forgotten City/City of the Ancients, Icicle Inn...etc, but the whole damn game...beautiful. I'm getting emotional thinking about it and I've played it countless times since then. I started a new game the other day in fact and I'm having so much fun AGAIN...STILL. ALWAYS! 🥰💖🌸
I get why everyone says Cloud is the main protagonist. We get to play as him through the majority of the game. BUT let's be real, the main protagonist is Aerith Gainsborough. 😉😉😉 If it wasn't for her actions, Holy would never be casted and everyone would have died, and she's literally the last ancient to boot. No way it could be anyone else.
My favorite moments in the original are Tifa saving Cloud and helping him regain his memories after he fall off to the lifesteam, and Cloud vs sephiroth final duel. Such a great climax both of these scenes.. Also, Red XIII being proud of his dad for the first time was probably the most moving scene for me in the original
Im 100% sure everytime someone mentions something that isnt on remake but on rebirth (like the gold saucer), you secretely start to remember when you recorded lines for those specific parts 😂
One of my favourite parts of FF7Remake was a part which, weirdly, I don't hear many people talking about: *Chapter 4, the entirely new chapter, where you've got that high-action motorbike ride to the top of the city.* Specifically I love the part where you're walking along a quiet city street at night, with calm guitar music playing. It REALLY captured me for some reason. In summer 2020 when I first played that game, the atmosphere was almost emotional. It reminded me of that one part of my life where I'd come home from a busy day at university, and I'd have a quiet nighttime city walk, in an atmosphere JUST like the one in the game. The pandemic+lockdown at the time meant that my university was closed, and I could never really get that vibe - or see my friends there - again. (But thankfully we reunited years later) FF7Remake's atmosphere is just a real highlight for me in general
my favorite moment was watching you react to the ending of the game and crying with you, you made me so happy with your skill and beauty! you deserve to be loved so much, sending you all the love I have!!!
Favourite moment when Sephiroth looks at the camera with his Merciless eyes and then the camera pans out slowly as Sephiroth turns around sword in hand to walk calmly into the fire Gotta be most memorable moment because it felt epic to see as a younger kid growing up with ff7 1997
Aeriths beautiful and caring adoptive mother is Elmyra!!! My favorite moment of final fantasy 7 in general was then I first laid eyes on the movie when I was 7 years old. The scenes, emotions, and music was unlike anything I was use to in my life. It brought so much comfort to me growing up that when I felt I was alone it made it more beautiful to look out into the world with hope. I’m 23 years old now, going to be 24 soon.
Favorite Final Fantasy VII moment: In the original game, it would be when Aerith starts laughing because she came up with the idea of having Cloud dress as a woman to save Tifa. In the Remake game, it's where Aerith says: "This is our plan, and you'll learn to love it."
If I had to choose a favorite memory, it’d be when my older brother gifted me FF7 because he couldn’t beat the final Sephiroth battle. I started over, experienced it all for myself and I beat it. I was so excited to show him. Because of that, it’ll always hold a special place in my heart!
I have many great memories of Final Fantasy 7 - but I can relate at least one. I particularly remember inspecting the cover of the game for the Playstation (I still have the original Playstation game), reading the manual and the backstory of the game with all the unique characters, which already seemed very interesting and new to me, since it was one of my very first Playstation games after I sold my Super NES (which may have been a mistake I readily admit). And then, after putting the game into the Playstation, hearing the beautiful and really mesmerizing Prelude theme, seeing the really cool FMV intro, and playing the first few minutes in the Shinra Reactor in Midgar, I already knew that this game was going to immerse me in a really great story (although at first I couldn't even begin to imagine how big and deep the whole story would turn out to be as the game progressed). The funny thing is, at the time I kind of believed that the first CD of the original game would end after leaving Midgar - and then I was really surprised at how MUCH further the story went on CD 1. But then they revisited my old thought in the FF7 remake, where the first big Midgar episode takes up an entire disc. :DD
I believe in the OG FF7 from the moment Sephiroth starts to come down with the sword to when it Lance's Aerith is 7 Seconds. Aeriths adoptive mother is Elmyra.
I'm new to FF7 and when i played the remake day 1, one of my favorite moments was the Airbuster fight, and as a huge dark souls fan, this fight was just UNREAL
Favorite FF7 Remake memory was when Cloud lands in Sector 5, introduce and gets to know Aerith more and the wall market moments with them together oh my good and funny times😆🌼♥️It's always great to see you uploading on RU-vid Bri! The video was really enjoyable to watch, the interview with the fans, and the whole tour of the Square Enix booth was awesome to see!👏🙌🤩I'm more hyped for FF7 Rebirth!
I purchased the game as well as a PS when it came out in '97. I was new to purchasing video games unless it was a gift but this was my very first game I ever purchased with my own hard-earned money. Saw the advertisements and red magazines and then I knew this is a game that I would like to try. I was hooked from day one to the point that I had to master the game. Skipped so many birthday parties, holidays, hang out with my friends because I was determined to get knights of the round with the gold chocobo. I have probably put in over 300-400 hours in the original and now I have played tons of the remake. The newest rendition of final fantasy is absolutely breathtaking. Although, I'm a little disappointed on The Open world in rebirth I'm hoping it doesn't lose the nostalgia of what is considered the best game of all time
This made for a cool video. My first memory was watching a school friend playing it and seeing Cloud on the world map and running into Midgar Zolom. After that I was hooked and we would play for hours and hours starting the game at the same time and playing through together. Such an amazing game and a great part of my childhood.
Main Antagonist is J-E-N-O-V-A and Hojo way before Sephiroth sorry fans. Also ill like to point out that dude that said were chasing J-E-N-O-V-A all this time (brillant mate , the truth as been spoken!)
At first I was like “Myra?” But then saw the comments correctly going “Elmira.” 😅 Also didn’t go to SDCC this year but if I had and saw you were hosting this event I would have tried stopping by to participate in the Q&A and tell you in person what a great job you have done with the character (which I’m sure everyone you met there did). Hopefully Square Enix makes you their spokesperson at more events!
Aww I loved this video - so great to see how much fo a fandom this game has built up over the years, with Remake bringing in new generations of fans. Thanks for sharing, Bri! :) Btw, will you be reacting to the new trailer that just dropped yesterday?? It was TOO good!!
Elmyra I guess? (If I got it right, I swear I didn't look it up or at other comments) There are so many amazing and memorable moments in FF7, but my favorite has to be in FF7 Remake when Barett saying goodbye to his daughter at Aerith's house then going outside and saying 'She tougher than me.' That's my favorite part, and I will never forget that...
Hi Brianna sorry for asking here and of course I loved FFVII at its time 😂 but may I ask why you stopped the playthrough of Horizon Zero Dawn at the episode 16? Do you plan to restart sooner or later? Thank you.
Aeriths adopted mother is Elmyra! Also, if I was to do the 7 second question it’d be the date that Cloud and Aerith had in the gold saucer. I have the song that plays during their gondola ride in a music box with the quote “(i know, i know… what i meant is…) I want to meet… you.” written on it. It always hits the perfect chords in me to get emotional lol
I really wanna know how you come up with the faces for all your thumbnails. I was just looking through them and you have such a different animated expression on every one …it’s so fun!
