The end of the road. Now that Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret & Red XIII have crossed through the barrier Whispers are attacking them. A Whisper Harbinger tries to interfere but is no match for the Avalanche team. The harbinger has been defeated & in the aftermath of the battle the team is surrounded by light. The voice of Sephiroth dims the light & shrouds Cloud in darkness & attacks. Aerith, Cloud, Tifa, Barret & Red XIII have the biggest battle of their lives. At Shinra Corp, Rufus is now in charge, Hojo’s Lab has been demolished. Zack has taken down his foes on the outskirts of Shinra but was it all a flashback? In this epic finale we wrap up our playthrough of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

As a voice actor, I can't imagine that there's a greater sense of accomplishment than seeing your own name in the credits. It really solidifies that you were not only a part of something amazing, but you helped bring an amazing character to life. See issue is square is failing as a company and will pry soon end up bankrupt or worse then EA since they love to censor there new games and alot of them are just straight failures everyone seems to forget when square said they'd remake 7 when they ran out of ideas so that's a bad sign.

The best part about watching Briana do these playthroughs is watching her watch cutscenes. Even the ones that don't involve her character at all. You can literally see her experiencing the scene and moment in her heart, going through all of the emotions, and truly feeling it (like her deep breath at 38:11 or hearing her song at 49:08 ). It shows exactly why she's such an amazing VA, because her capacity for empathy is so sky high, that it comes through in her voice and performance. And better still, why you can tell she's such a phenomenal person with a lovely soul in real life. " She is, quite perfectly, the quintessential Aerith.

You're making me cry, Briana. And I just have to say...I grew up with these characters. And while Aerith has had a couple of different VAs in different titles, in my eyes...you are Aerith Gainsborough. Your portrayal of the character is exactly what I envisioned in my mind all the way back in 1997 as a 12 year old. And there's no such thing as an ugly cry when they are tears of happiness and accomplishment. :)

Thank you Briana for taking the risk of auditioning for the role of Aerith. As a life-long fan of the OG since 1997, you have exceeded all that I hoped for in the portrayal of the heart of the party. I'm resting easy, as I wait for the rest of the trilogy, knowing Aerith is in good hands. I'm not certain someone else could have voiced her better.

Wow it's been nearly 3 years since FFVII Remake was released and it still occupies my thoughts more than any other game in the last decade. It was a perfect storm when it released, it hit my nostalgia, it distracted me from bleak global events at the time. Despite the flaws, it's a wonderful and layered game and definitely my favourite gaming experience I've had in such a long time. And watching Brianna's let's play has just been icing on the cake. Bring on FFVII Rebirth!

Best Aerith Voice Actor I will go down my grave with that being said. Even when I started the game I listened to the voices but Aerith's voice got me the very first time I heard her asking for help from Cloud, and then she calmly speaks to Cloud.... It was too perfect that even I thought they tampered with the voice to make it cutesy sounding but I turned off music and sfx and knew it right then from there that it was the passion behind the voice that made it real for me. So real that I could feel the voice of Aertih next to me as I played through. I wish I could play the game again without knowing anything just to have that first time experience again. Thank you SRG. I cannot wait for Rebirth to hear you again! ☺️

You honestly captured her charm, humor, compassion and her mysterious side and I’m so excited you were able to experience such a beautiful moment to see your name on screen as you did. You deserve every praise you get, you were wonderful. I had mixed feelings about certain changes this game made from the OG, but I can gladly say how excited I am to see where this story is going. On 21:27, In a strange, yet funny sense (like Wreck-it-Ralph type character awareness), I always thought this was Cloud getting back at Bri for saying Bench "is the true hero of FFVII:Remake" (From the "High Fives" Pt 17 video at timestamp 30:32). One of most epic battles with music that gives me the freaking CHILLS! Please tell me I wasn’t the only one who felt a little intimidated going against Sephiroth-still a great battle 😅 Briana, watching your gameplay was truly a joy. Playing this game changed my life, our lives. I cried playing this game, even on my 7th play through. Though, after the second play through, I didn’t realize how amazing Aerith was, such a freaking sweet human and your phenomenal performance, you make it infinity times better. You helped us all bring this wondrous creation to life, after dreaming about it for most of the last 20 years. I can’t be the only one that cried for like half an hour just at the opening menu screen. FINALLY!!!! I’ve waited years for this! Also, I’m playing Remake on my Steam Deck (literally my 12th play through) and I just got to Sector 5 and about to visit your house for the first time. There’s just something so sweet and relaxing about it. It brings so much joy, but also a sense of melancholy as well. Such an amazing game! @@rleeton1 Yah I played Crisis Core for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I liked it…..but at the same time something felt really off about it story wise…. And I’m not sure how I feel about Genesis and Angeal. I think the origin of the Buster Sword could’ve been better, and I’ve never played the original. But I was always under the impression that Sephiroth found out about his origin on his own. I’m not sure how I feel about Genesis essentially spoon feeding Sephiroth about his origin.

@@fearlesscheshirecat1411 Yeah I think Genesis kinda sucks as a character in general tbh... cool fighting style but that's about it. I also didn't like how they retconned him into that scene. Though from the way the are handling the compilation material in Remake I think there is at least an understanding at SE that some of that old compilation material it is pretty rough and not up to the standards of story telling that they are trying to achieve within Remake so I wouldn't be surprised if things play out closer to the original when we see those events in Rebirth. It also bugged me that Cloud was able to just pick up the Buster Sword and wield it like a regular weapon. Think you just gotta remember that Crisis Core is very much a game of it's time and certainly coming to it from Remake is probably gonna feel quite jarring. But I'm glad they committed to doing a 1 to 1 remaster of it, even if some of those old dialogue and story elements kinda suck. I think for a lot of the OG CC fans those are very much a part of it's charm

I was also amazed by The Edge of Creation scene, it was so epic. The supernova behind Sephiroth and the red nebula behind Cloud. The theme that was playing. At the end, Cloud staring at the supernova while the camera zooms out till the sword shows on frame. This scene was choreographed so well. Made me hyped and wanting for more as a new player of the ff7 universe.

This was such an amazing Finale! The Final section of the Game was so good, that one on one with Cloud and Sephiroth give’s me chills.. this whole adventure/journey was amazing, I enjoyed the Story, Character’s, Music, & Gameplay. I am excited to find out what’s in store for us next! 🤗 You did an incredible job Voice Acting as Aerith! I know this was an emotional and great achievement for you. What I loved about your playthrough? The amount of love for this game that you express. All of your emotions you have shared really made me feel that I was a part of your playthrough. What's initially wonderful was that the original polygon characters especially Aerith with no voice acting were able to have such a profound effect on so many of us due to the story and now with the remake having graphics that allow much more emotion to come through, then having VA's like you that just put the icing on the cake and apply even more life/definition and personality to - we thank you for that

This was my first ever Final Fantasy game that I played and WOW was I flabbergasted. The story, the characters, the voice acting, the visuals, it was such an amazing game that I will never forget. Finally binged this whole series as I wait for Rebirth to be unlocked for me. As a fan of the channel since way before Briana's announcement as the voice of Aerith, it's been a surreal journey just getting to experience it like this. As a fellow rebel who subscribed to SRG in 2016 (major lurker back then) and then later joining the Twitch community n 2020, I want to thank you for sharing this amazing, life-changing experience with us. From the moment you announced you were the voice of Aerith all the way up to seeing your name in the end credits, it was incredible and inspiring to see you go through this journey and watch as a RU-vidr/actress gets a dream of a lifetime, and boy what a role you just landed! And you know what? You nailed it!! Did this game change my life as much as yours? Not as much. But what it DID, (and with your help), it got me through the bad times. I got into watching you because of this video series. I found it on my RU-vid home page one day and watched one, loved it and started watching from the beginning. It's fun hearing your thoughts on some of the scenes, and especially different comments and memories of recording these lines for all of us to hear. Some of my favorite moments were listening to you go through the rooftop segment (I think this was the first clip or video I watched), commenting on the Honeybee Inn scene and highlighting why it is so powerful and such an important moment, your reactions to Train Graveyard scenes, and you talking about how hard it was to record the Don's laugh among many many moments that were great throughout this. I've also watched a bit of your Intermission videos, God Of War recap and finishing on Twitch, and at least part of your first Crisis Core Reunion stream. Been subbed both here and on Twitch for a year or so now. Love your streams, videos, and all the work you put into voice acting! Looking forward to hearing you as Aerith in Crisis Core Reunion as well as Rebirth and any other roles you have.

i watched your whole playthrough because you brought aerith to life for me, after almost thirty years now, in the most beautiful way imaginable. thank you so much foe your hard work. i know i’m not the only one who was moved to tears by your performance more often than not. your kind words in the honey bee inn episode brought me to tears as well, it might sound silly to say but it feels like “aerith supports me, what else could i really need?”

Wow! That was EPIC! I almost expected Cloud to go ahead and unleash Omnislash(tm) on Sephiroth - except for the fact that... he hasn't learned it yet!! But dang, this leaves me with QUESTIONS!! Briana, you are one heck of an awesome gamer. And I've said it before, but lending your voice to Aerith... my favorite character in the Final Fantasy VII Compilation... Wonderful and well-done! I'm very much looking forward to your work in Crisis Core: Reunion and in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth - and whatever comes next after that! Watching your play-throughs so far of Remake, the little bit of Reunion that you've done so far, and also Final Fantasy 15... I kind of wish that we would be able to befriend each other for real. As it is though, I am content to be a fan, miles away. Either way, you're awesome. Keep right on doing what you do!

Congrats on a great playthrough! That last fight with Sephiroth is intense because of the DPS race before the timer gets to zero. There's still the secret lab and bosses in chap. 17 with new game+ and hard mode. Hard mode is really tough because conserving your MP becomes so important because you can't use items. I am so glad you had fun playing through the game and loved your performance as Aerith. I also appreciated your very unique perspective in having done the lines, and then being able to experience them through playing it.

Briana is just the best. I know this playthrough was a couple of years ago, I wonder if she has played Yuffie DLC yet. Would be nice to see on YT. Also I would like to give a shout out to Barrets character writer and VA, for giving this one dimensional character an Emmy/Oscar winning performance in this 'Remake', that has exceeded any expectation I had for this game and more. I'm so glad that you felt such a strong connection with being a part of this great story. It means all the more to know the cast really enjoys the stories they are a part of, and we all appreciate the work you did. This game means so much to me since I bought the original when I was 13 as my first Playstation game and my first RPG ever. It gave me such an amazing feeling while playing it that Final Fantasy has been a staple of my life since, and I'm always looking for new RPGs to fill that void. I know this is a year late and all, but I just wanted to share the appreciation anyway. 😊

I had to put off watching this and responding because I was secretly dreading the day when there wasn't going to be more of these. Again I just want to say thank you for not only breathing life into this game but for sharing your time and love for a story we all normally only get to expierience alone. I've shed many a manly tear in those heavy scrnes but it means so much to me that you and the cast and crew put so much love and truly magnificent acting skills into each character, you especially. I know you have more videos and so much more work in all sorts of roles around the corner so it's not like we're never going to see you again but I just got to say these videos and work you shared were truly amazing. Not a day goes by when I don't think this game not only represents a work of genre defineing art but a story about people and the will not to give up on them. Most importantly you gave it your all for this story. I also loved when brought your fellow cast and crew together again and reminisced on your choices and take aways from each scene. I have to remind myself as a voice actor most of your lines were done in separate days but in game and irl you all seemed to have inseparable chemistry. I could keep going but this book of a text has to wrap up sometime so I'll just close by saying you are an inspiration and an amazing actress and I for one can't wait to see what you will do next. 😀
